What is your point on the ADL?
I have my view on Greenblat, but I want to hear yours first.
I have literally heard every conservative fully back Israel and destroy Biden for his handling of Iran as they clearly allowed Iran to regain currency reserves including the six billion to help support, fund and green light this atrocious attack. Pompeo just went up leagues in my estimation today.
What is baffling are all the liberal Jews who vote Democratic and share the side of aisle who help lead the BDS movement.
Blinken for example, needs to think really hard, a Jew, if he has blood on his hands.
my point was pretty much what he is saying, the right sideof the trump crowd doesnt like jews they are simply using this attack in isreal to go after muslims another group they do not like, this time much more than just the right side of the trump supporters.

The people on the right who have issues with “Jews” (and again, I have partial heritage) are those who, mostly in the media, go off on the right and use platforms ranging from the WP, NY Times, Hollywood (the Beverly Hills mayor - where I was born) to relentless attach the right.

Greenblat, the head of the ADL, is starting to see the issue: he went on MSNBC, and the writer wrote a strong pro-Palestinian peace to which JG had to stop, turn to the camera and make clear (which, he did a great job of) that Hamas is a set of terrorists and barbarians.
To use your point, left leaning Jews are starting to “wake up”, to use your favorite term, “sheep” and realize that these cultural marxists on the left, want to destroy the state of Israel. (Ironically, deeply, Marx was Jewish). Look no further than Bari Weiss.
On Trump, and I am no, at all, reflexive supporter, I see a guy whose beautiful daughter married a jew. He put the embassy out of Tel Aviv and into Jerusalem.
Finally, on this board, I have disagreed with plenty here. Very poor things have been said and directed to me.
Never, have I experienced any form of anti-semitism on this board and it is a pretty good proxy for the pro-trump movement.
i dont disagree with any of this, beyond the real target of the ADL is not going to change. its the right 25-30% that they view as a threat. would i get in bed with the people they are in bed with? no. but thats what happens when youre outnumbered by 50 to 1. When i got to UF was the first time i realized that there was a lot of closet aniti semitixm, i am half italian and half jewish, nobody knows i am half jewish as its my mothers side. It was much more widespread than i experiecned growing up in miami and new york.

I have a complicated heritage as well. My wife is part northern italian and part Swedish. My children are "muts". I also grew up in NYC in the 70s, part of my family in the upper east side and my father in Jackson Heights. (my father, like me, married very well, lol) I am part Jewish, part German and part nordics.
When I went to the University of the South. Did I see it - sure. I also saw clear black racism. N word was used pretty liberally - and I was a member of one of the big three fraternities.
Btw - not surprisingly, KA would not have me. Did they have some intuitive sense that I was not really a "son of Robert E. Lee"? Sure.
One of the things, that I see, and I HATE about the left, is that every generation we get better - FAR better, and many on the left refuse to acknowledge or celebrate it.

I fear concentrations of power be it the communist party, large governments, monopolistic corporations, teachers unions, mandates, etc.
I have friends of all religions and backgrounds. My daughter rooms with two chinese women (whose families escaped horrors in China) and a woman from mexico (part Japanese). I took them out to dinner in Houston and we had a great time. Really good people and there are a lot of the cultural values from Asia (discipline, hard work, focus on family) that help them excel. It has rubbed off in a very positive way to my daughter.

But let's put that in play. If I were with Napier, would I be very cordial, grab a beer, etc. Absolutely. Would I bring up the OC/offense thing? Nope - not unless he asked and genuinely wanted my input (no reason he would).
Right now, I have anger towards Hamas (not the palestinian people). Why - they killed innocent people. It borders on "hate", but I need to control that emotion and seek to drive to understanding, collaboration and peace.
Hamas and other terrorists organizations cannot operate without a whole lot of looking the other way. There is an issue with Muslims, trumps a ****ing idiot but he wasn’t all wrong about a few things. The guy just sold it to people that are naturally bigoted.
I don’t think the white supremicist have an equal, hate originates there. BLM was never about police brutality, I view it as a reparations play or more socialism . As with many organizations like it the leaders are usually grifters looking to enrich themselves, similar to churches.
