Is there an Ebonics interpreter available?

Questionable's that will return (my guess all along).

OLB J.Davis (has said all along he's returning)
FS K.Neal
SS M.Maye

Jeremi Powell leaving. LB corps on life support.

#Gators LB Jeremi Powell will not return to team for final season of eligibility: floridagators.com/news/2016/1/5/

And rumors are that Davis is considering leaving now.

Powell was probably encouraged to leave.

Lots of those conversations happening right now.

Davis STAYS!!! (cause I said so) o_O

Life Support???

2016 Projected LB roster:

LB Daniel McMillian 6-1 219 Sr 3L
LB Alex Anzalone 6-3 244 Sr 3L
LB Jarrad Davis 6-2 230 Sr 3L
LB Matt Rolin 6-3 216 rsJr 1L
---------------
LB Christian Garcia 6-0 221 rsJr SQ W-O
LB Steven Stipe Jr 5-11 216 rsJr SQ W-O
LB R.J. Raymond 6-2 236 rsSo SQ W-O
-----------
LB Isaac Brinson 6-0 198 rsFr SQ W-O
LB Jahim Lawrence 5-11 211 rsFr SQ W-O
LB Darius Singletary 6-1 197 rsFr SQ W-O
LB Rayshad Jackson 6-0 221 rsFr *** SQ
----------
#10 ILB David Reese 6-1 235 **** Fr EE
#17 OLB Vosean Joseph Fr 6-2 210 **** Fr
#19 OLB
Meremiah Moon Fr 6-4 210 **** Fr

I'm betting that Randy can get a decent rotation out of those 14 LB's, 8 are ships.
In a 4-2-5 he'd have ships 4 deep.
IF just 1 of the W-O's can play, in a 4-3-4 he'll have 3 to go 3 deep.
Where is all of this doom & gloom coming from anyway?

Guys leave every single year. As a 'team' every year is a rebuilding year.

S/Nic Nick Washington 6-0 195 rsJr 3L
S/Nic/CB Duke Dawson 5-10 204 Jr 2L

FS Marcus Maye 6-0 207 rsSr 3L (possible NFL early departure)
SS Keanu Neal 6-1 216 Sr 3L (possible NFL early departure)
SS Marcell Harris 6-1 211 rsJr 2L
SS/QB Kylan Johnson 6-1 220 rsFr SQ
----------------
#12 FS Quincy Lenton 6-0 195 4.6/40 **** Fr
#15 FS Jeawon Taylor 6-1 195 4.8/40 *** Fr
#66 SS - #73 CB Antonio Nelson 6-2 190 *** Fr

Even without listing the W-O's, I think that they can get by with those guys.

Don't get the infatuation with Neal, must be all the highlight hits AFTER he gets out of position to begin with. Both he and Maye are liabilities in coverage. Anytime we had a deep pass complete on us it was almost one of those two or Poole the last few years. Maye got toasted his first start against Miami in 13' and it's been happening ever since. Both would be good from an experience standpoint, but they can be replaced.

Both are usually great in run support

Maye, Poole and Neal are very inconsistent. I won't say they aren't going to be missed, but I don't think their departures will be anywhere near as impactful as some seem to think.

If I have to watch another season of Maye getting embarrassed in the secondary by meh receivers, I will go crazy. He needs to move to LB or join Neal in the draft.
