Time for a change was last year. Time for a village square public hanging. I knew we'd have to play a perfect game to win. Pipe dream, I know. Grantham sucks balls. Can't get players lined up before a play, can't even get a stop or punt. I knew this would happen. It's sad. This can be avoided going forward though. 3rd and Grantham has to go.

At the time, Chaz Henry was actually our punter but forced into kicking duties when we lost Caleb Sturgis to an injury that year, but no excuse for the choke sign.

Everybody hates Todd, but they never give him any credit for having a Top 10 D, while using McLame's recruits. In fact, he's still mostly using McLame's recruits. In 21 and 22 he'll finally have his own chosen guys to coach up and play.

Seems to me that there is a bit of a disconnect between hating/firing McLame, but then putting all the blame on Todd for how McLames recruits play. An oh BTW, Todd coaches the DL, not the secondary.

I guess that the whining 'entitled' haters always need someone to blame...

We're finishing up gear 3. Between recruiting and transfers, this is this staff's defense.

Why insta is so in love with Grantham is a question even the ancient aliens can't answer.

With just a mediocre defense we are 11-0 and ranked #1. We've wasted the best Gator offense since 1996, IMO. This is the worst defense I can ever remember as a Gator. Leading the conference in sacks means nothing when you can't get lined up right half the time, commit crucial penalties, miss tackles consistently, blow coverages over and over and run schemes that allow receivers to be open all over the field. This defense looks lost half the time and there are some high recruits and solid players with experience on the field. There has been lack of discipline all year and they haven't gotten any better as the season progressed. Time for a change.

We had two sacks in the process of giving up FIVE CONSECUTIVE TOUCHDOWN DRIVES. That is not successful defense. But before I get you saying that "I'm just a hater", read these excerpts from Adam Silverstein:

Far less talented teams play far better defense than Florida because they have discipline, schematic advantages and adaptable play callers, all things that the Gators clearly lack.

Florida’s secondary continued to give 7-10 yards of cushion to some of the best receivers in college football. The defense missed tackles at every level. Playmakers were routinely left open due to coverage lapses. There’s an overall inability to get lined up quickly or with any consistency. Oh, and if you think those comments are all about Saturday night, you’re wrong. That’s been the entire season for a defense that has even allowed mediocre-to-poor offenses to put up respectable numbers.

Just damn.... I guess it's totally amazing that the Dan/Todd coaching combo are 29-8 in 3 years after taking over a 4 win cluster.

Just in case no one else has noticed, every game I've ever watched since SOS was our QB, there have been penalties, missed tackles, blown coverages, etc. There have also been seasons where one of the three O-D-ST have not been as good as the other 2. I can even remember seasons when all 3 phases sucked, like in 1979.

Off the handle ranting and whining by the 'entitled' fans is not new around here, so I guess I'm not surprised by it. Now I'm giving free rein to those few that need someone fired for not living up to their 'entitled' expectation every single year. Since I have no control over hiring or firings, I'll leave it up to those here that seem to believe that they should be listened to and be in charge of both. Have at it guys, hate away while I take care of some more important business,,,, ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz

Grantham has to go. That was the worst prepared defense I have ever seen for UF.

It was the same song and dance the entire year. No progress. And I’m not buying we don’t have the athletes.

It wasn’t pretty, but that Bama team had insane weapons...not sure any DC should be judged based on performance against them...

We scored 46 against a well coached and well organized defense with great athletes. In this day and age great offense beats very good defense.

However I truly believe if we had a well coached and well organized defense instead of a poorly coached and unorganized defense we would be the undefeated #1 team instead of the #11 three loss team. And that's why Grantham has to go.
