Even with the loss last night Mac showed us what a good coach he is.Lets not forget we are still playing with a bellow average sec offensive line. I think Mac has protected the Oline. His play calling throughout the season has made them look better than they actually are. Prior to the season we all thought that we would not be able to compete against the better sec teams due to the oline. Mac continues to put the qb in a position to make plays.I was certainly disappointed with the result last night but not the effort. Did you happen to notice, no dumb penalties .
We definitely have some talent on this team but not nearly the talent that LSU has. Mac is doing more with less. The team seems to take on his personality He is always composed so the team remains composed.How great was it to see us fight back last night to make it a game.If this were last season we would have been blown out in the 2nd half. Wait until Mac has a couple of good recruiting years and you can be sure he will. Did you see the compassion that he had for Will Grier during his press conference?He is like a father figure to these kids and parents of recruits will take notice.
