When the left wants to do something to the entire population, like take everyone's guns or take away everyone's ability to communicate, they don't do it all at once. They separate the population into smaller groups, then isolate that smaller group and paint them as criminals THEN take away their freedoms.
Once they take away the freedoms from one group, then they can expand and target new groups AND add more people to the already targeted groups.
The point is once they do it once, the genie is out of the bottle then.
Roll back the clock just 5 years and say that in 2021, people would be deleted off the internet just for having an opinion that some people didn't like. Even hardcore dems would have said no way. "That happens in China, we aren't China!'
Yet it just happened. How did they get away with it? By branding the people that had the opinions they didn't like as being 'dangerous' and 'inciting violence'.
Oh! Well it's ok to take away their personal freedoms! They are the bad guys!
