Florida soccer closed regular-season action with a 1-0 loss at Georgia on a chilly Halloween evening at the Georgia Soccer Stadium.

Thursday's scoring:
The only goal came late in regulation. Georgia's Abby Boyan stepped in front of a Gator pass at midfield and then headed toward goal. The through ball she sent toward the box found Haley Sorrell. She took a touch left, then right before hitting a 15-yard shot that scored in the 89th minute.

Florida did have its opportunities Thursday as the Gators outshot the Bulldogs 11-8. Cassidy Lindley's through ball in the 13th minute was just off for Kit Loferski to make the scoring touch at the far post. With 10 minutes remaining, Parker Roberts' shot from 18-yards heading to the far post upper slot was saved out for a Gator corner kick.
