Smith said after the offer, "I can't lie, I do have some interest in Florida. I don't really know much about the program yet besides that they compete on the highest level and that they can compete for a national championship every year."
Coach Bell asked if he preferred WR or CB and as soon as Smith said defense, the offer was presented.
