Gasoline prices already on the rise

Not sure what world you live in but I would say most 9 year olds now a days get on the internet. In fact they probably are required to do so for school assignments. I also do not interfere in how parents raise their own children. Your statement is outdated and if I were your parents I would keep you off the internet. Good grief indeed.

Yeah you're insane LOL No responsible parents on this planet encourage their 9-year old child to get on the internet, pose as an adult, and pick fights with other adults over politics.

Good grief.

You need a reality check. I would bet 95 percent of kids that age are on the internet. They have to be for school assignments. She is not posing as adult. I do not know how old you are but I will tell you that she probably communicates more cogently then you do.

It's not her intelligence that I'm worried about, it's her parents. She doesn't know any better, they should. So should you. SMDH

Please google the average age children get access to the internet. Another thing of interest is the age they get their first smart phone. I will wait for you to come back and tell me I am right. I will not be holding my breath. It is not a big deal to be wrong but it is a big deal to be judgmental and self righteous at the same time.

The child getting on the internet was never the issue. This is what you said:

I have a 9 year old granddaughter who loves to get on the internet and talk smack about politics. She is pretty bright and the people she is talking with have no idea she is 9 and doing it only for kicks.

Yeah, if you don't see why this is a bad idea waiting to happen, I can't help you.

Most kids do a lot worse. The average age an unsupervised child gets internet access is 8. If all they are going to do is talk politics, I would say that is pretty tame compared what most do.
