The playbook is severely limited and has to be cutback with Harris at QB. Sorry but he's completely lost out there.

The reality is that Treon is getting worse. We had two wide open WRs. he could not hit them. He cannot field a marginally bad snap. He does not read defenses. He does not go through progressions. He sacks himself.

None of that has anything to do with the point I'm making...which is that the offense has been bad all year. I've run the numbers on here plenty of times. Even with a passing game under Grier we were like 106th in the nation in rushing. A large percentage of our drives had 3rd and longs, well above the national average. It has happened all year, none of it is new.

Again, the only difference is that Grier was good enough to bail us out from
time to time. Realistically, how long did you guys expect Grier to continue to be able to do that? What offense moves the ball against good defenses with no running game, a line that can't block, and constantly being in 2nd and 3rd and long? The offense would no doubt be better now. But you put any QB in constant third and longs with no running game and no pass protection and eventually bad games were gonna come. We saw the same damn thing against teams like UK for example. But sure, one guy would cure all our issues. And I'm way tired of Nuss getting a pass on here too. None of that is excusing Treon, he needs to be replaced. But all that other crap is there too and I'm tired of people overlooking it. it's just dumb and football ignorant. Everybody focused on the QB because it's the easiest thing to do and that's what the herd says the problem is so that must be the problem.

IGrier was never this bad. With Grier we have at least some points on the board.

Hell, Harris could throw fairly accurately early in the year.

The upside with Grier is way higher...Treon looks like a joke out there today...and while the offense has been really inconsistent...Treon is a part of that...he's had plenty of time to throw the ball today and he's way off target...he looks terrible.
