Taizse Johnson, a former teammate of Mordecai McDaniel, recently included Florida in his top six and continues to speak heavily with the likes of David Turner and assistant director of player personnel David Cooper. The Gators offered as soon as Johnson released his spring highlights.
No visit has been scheduled, but Johnson said he feels like Florida will receive an official visit at some point. His OVs will take place in the spring.
The Gators have been in touch "frequently" since Sept. 1
If he had to name a top three right now, Florida would be in it.
