Doesn't mean they can't recommit once Norvell and staff are in place, but you had to assume this year we'd take a hit in recruiting after that atrocity on the field.

Same size as Oregon's Kayvon Thibodeaux & he lives in UF territory.

Yup. Mike told him he really wasn't a fit for his style of offense...then we offered another QB and literally 6 minutes after the offer went out, he tweeted his decommitment.

The FSU coaching staff has extended a second quarterback offer today. Earlier in the day FSU offered Georgia three-star Tate Rodemaker and this afternoon they’ve offered Mississippi three-star Jimmy Holiday.
He’s a USF commit for a reason & not a very good offer list. Norvell offered him at Memphis so that is the connection. Not an upgrade from Simms that is for sure.

True, but he didn't lie to him either which I respect. If he isn't a fit for the type of offense he wants to run, the kid should be told up front rather than get pissed only to enter the transfer portal later.
This is the exact reason I immediately put Boris on ignore, and I don't like using the ignore option. So much for the company I work for that supposedly monitors and restricts content such as what we've dealt with.
Why isn’t he a fit for the offense? Briles recruited him to play in his offense. What kind of offense does Norvell run that makes him not a fit?

You already know I know their shyt pretty good. They have adapted to and recruited different styles of QB. They signed DT QB David Moore(who ended up playing for McElwain) and he also lured in PP QB Brady White. He then signed DT QB Mark Quinn and in the same class PP QB Connor Adair...next class PP QB Sheldon Layman and DT QB Sky Forest.
His first QB was a PP who could run when needed to in Riley Ferguson.
His offense consists of getting the speed guys in the open area. Occasionally throw the deep pass. Occasionally take the grind it out 4 yards and a cloud of dust and then come at them with a surprise.
Multiple misdirection plays.
What QB doesnt fit the mold of throwing a short screen pass to some fast dudes?
