“The ancient master” he said, “was skilled in techniques previously considered not characteristic for the Palaeolithic era, such as easel speed drilling, boring tool type rasp, grinding and polishing with a leather and skins of varying degrees of tanning.”

Saban generally feasts on teams that are highly predictable. And Jimbo, for all the talent he has amassed, can be highly predictable.
Jimbo going against his idol in Saban for game 1 gives me a fair amount of confidence the team will be prepared. Bama has much more talent but they just lost a pile. This is as good a time to jump them as any. Their QB is average as grits. Their offense is better suited for our defense than a spread hurry up like a Louisville, Clemson, etc. 3rd OC in 8 months when they kick it off. If FSU can establish the run a touch they should be ok imo.
