Not rly. We clearly would have won every game in the tourney by 10+pts or more.

A Hole grad, former Hole BOT member, and no doubt Hole fan uses his position to proclaim his favorite team “champions” following no logical criteria whatsoever other than his Hole fandom and of course his lack of a fully functional brain.

The logical criteria is that we are badasses... We offered kansas a winner take all game....they declined so we win by forfeit
I know you're joking, but it wouldn't surprise me to see this happen. UCF has one flying after their President declared them champs.
It would surprise me. FSU has real national titles. Not in basketball, obviously, but in other sports. They know what it takes to actually win a title.
Their case of Gator envy supercedes all logic. They have been rotting green with envy since we won our first basketball NC 14 years ago.
Then the baseball NC, what was supposed to be THEIR sport because they had the Lord of NO Rings/Human Rain Delay/Legend in his own mind, completely put them over the top postal batshit crazy with envy and jealousy.
They will claim this one no doubt.

My problem with this is the Florida senate should have been fair across the board if they were going to make some nonsense declaration like this. Why at the VERY same time did they not declare the UF Women's Gymnastics team the 2019-20 national champions? Undefeated #1 team in the country and the overwhelming favorite to win the actual national champioship anyways, if the senate had any decency or self respect, they would have issued the same statement about UF's team at the same time.
It's this self serving nonsense that caters to one specific group with our tax money is what pisses me off. None of it is legit in the end anyways but if you're going to waste our time while you're on the job with the public's tax money, do it fairly for the whole state.

But UF is generally the more well known school nationwide. Therefore, any and all National championships claimed go to UF by default.

However, they do have 2 Seed FSUcks making it to the Final-4, where they lose to 1 Seed Gonzaga.

BTW, they have 9 Seed UF upsetting 8 Seed AzST, then losing to 1 Seed Kan in the Rnd of 32.
(Then 4 Seed UK also loses to 1 Seed Kan in the Sweet-16)

Using about the same amount of logic as i am so....i cant argue this, 100% a fair point.
