Sooo, the in-state head-coach who's possibly bound for the Cornhusking "mountaintop" completed an undefeated regular season, with a shoot-out against the Gators-connected in-state head-coach.

Does that clarify any potential UF head-coach candidates? Or would U(F)AA's decision-makers say "nah, 'twas only 1 game, and a shoot-out besides"? Should U(F)AA be, um, uncomfortable about each team's defense allowing 40-something points? UCF's margin was a 4th-quarter 95-yd. kick-off return.

Next Saturday, Norvell's Memphis State will visit UCF for the AAC Championship game (Memphis previously lost the Hurricane-Irma game).
