Maybe I'm a glass half-empty guy, but IMO no parent with a child in a big-time professional sport should still have a mortgage or car payment.

No kidding....that crap aint cheap growing up. I've spent $$$$$ on my daughter's dance...I can't imagine football, baseball, etc.
