As I sat on my couch watching the Baylor v UNC bowl game a thought dawned on me that I had suppressed, perhaps subconsciously, for the last 5 years.

Throwing the football is easy. Hell, I suddenly feel like it's the easiest thing in sports. It's JV football easy.

For some reason over the last 5 years our football team has made it out to be an impossible task... to have a consistent passing attack. I'm talkin' throwing the ball into tight windows and hitting receivers in stride. Throwing to the corner of the end zone and going through progressions. Lining up in shotgun formation and throwing for 300 or 400 yards.

Baylor had a 4th string WR out there throwing the ball better than our rivals 100 QB. What gives?

I have no doubt that McElwain will bring back a confidence to this offense that throwing the ball for 250-300 yards a game is a must, not a hope. We brought the fun n' gun attack to the SEC and honestly no one can do it better than us.

I'm excited to see us get the ball to some of these young, talented receivers sooner rather than later.
