Florida Volleyball Releases 2024 Schedule

The Gators will face 15 of their opponents in Exactech Arena during the 2024 campaign.


GAINESVILLE, Fla.
–Florida Women’s Volleyball unveiled the details of the 2024 schedule Tuesday afternoon. Game times and television information will be released at a later date.



The Gators host 15 of their 28 contests in the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.



2024 Schedule Notes

* The SEC expansion welcomes Texas and Oklahoma to the conference’s 2024 schedule, as the Gators will open up SEC play by traveling to Norman, OK on Sept. 27 to face the Sooners in their first ever SEC Conference matchup.

* Florida welcome’s the 2024 National Champions, Texas to Gainesville on Oct. 6.

* The Gators will host in-state rival and ACC Champion Florida State on Sept. 17. It marks UF’s 67th matchup between the Seminoles, with the Gators leading 45-21.

* Florida heads east to kick off their 2024 campaign in Colorado from Aug. 30 – Sept. 1. UF’s first matchup will be Colorado State on Friday in Fort Collins, CO before traveling to Greeley, CO on Saturday to face Northern Colorado. Florida will close out it’s first weekend on play against Michigan State on Sunday.

* The Gators welcome three opponents from Sept. 6-8. Florida takes on USF on Friday, followed by a Saturday matchup against Southern Indiana. On Sunday, UF will face Ohio State to close out three-straight days of play.

* Florida will play two home matches from Sept. 20-22. The Gators take on North Texas on Friday, while wrapping up the weekend with Buffalo on Sunday.

* Florida hosts four-straight matches from Sept. 29 – Oct. 13, welcoming Kentucky before facing, Texas on Oct. 6. The Gators remain at home for the next two matches against Mississippi State (Oct. 9) and South Carolina (Oct. 13).

* The first week of November, UF hosts Ole Miss (Nov. 3) before hosting Auburn on Nov. 8. And Alabama on Nov. 10

* Florida’s final home match is slated for Nov. 23 against UCF, which will also be senior night.

* The Gators conclude regular-season play with two road games. Florida is scheduled to play at South Carolina (Nov. 27) before concluding the regular season at Georgia (Nov. 30).

* SEC Conference matchups are balanced with eight away/eight home.

* The program, will face three opponents for the first time – Buffalo, Northern Colorado and Southern Indiana.



Florida returns 12 players from the 2023 season, with seven starting in at least four matches last year. All-American sophomore Kennedy Martin, who was selected to the 2023 AVCA All-Southeast Region, 2023 All-SEC Team and 2023 All-Freshman Team, averaged 4.35 kills, 1.86 digs, 0.99 blocks and 5.14 points per game. Starting Libero Elli McKissock and outside hitter AC Fitzpatrick both return for their last year of eligibility. All-American setter Alexis Stucky, Emily Canaan as well as seniors Gabrielle Essix and Trinity Adams will return for Mary Wise’s 34th season as Florida’s head coach.



The Gators welcome six freshman and two graduate transfers to their 2024 roster. Redshirt senior Isabel Martin, accumulated a total of 514 kills, 244 digs, 38 aces, 54 total blocks and 580.5 points during her time at UNLV and was a 2023 AVCA All-American Honorable Mention, 2023 AVCA All-Region First Team Selection and named the 2023 Mountain West Co-Player of the Year. Hailing from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Erin Engel returns to her home state after spending her last three seasons at Maryland. The setter saw action in every match the past two seasons, while also accumulating 58 aces. Freshman Alec Rothe, Lauren Parks and Ella Vogel arrived on campus this past spring, while Jaela Auguste, Lauren Harden and Bella Lee join for the Fall 2024 semester.
