Florida is 63-68 all-time against Vanderbilt and 17-46 on the road in the series. The Gators are looking for their first win vs. Vanderbilt under Mike White. If the Gators win Saturday, the team will have defeated every SEC opponent at least once in White’s first two seasons.

Mike White is the seventh coach in SEC history to win 45 games in his first two seasons. He is tied for fifth all-time with Andy Kennedy (Ole Miss) and Tubby Smith (Georgia) one win behind Bruce Pearl (Tennessee) for fourth place.

line moved from 4 down to 3.5... everyone picking us to lose today

the uk fans snuck by another shit team and are beating their chest talking down to us on their board again, they are much better than us because of the rankings and a win at home with 21 more ft's...

Vandy is friggin' trash - 16-14, with a .500 record in a weak SEC. Can't believe Florida might go 0-2 against these chumps.

Like i said all week, you aren't beating bubble yum big league chews team at home. NEver have a shot

how is anyone suprised by this? They have hit ONE three and are tied because they are shooting rupp FT's every possession, this has hardly anything to do with the way UF is playing, how much better do you expect them to play on the road? This is a bubble basketball load of s*** that only basketball pulls off.. Vandy can only shoot 3's but are in the game and took the lead after getting spanked the whole way until every possession became Free throws. I can see right through it and never expect anything different in these games for teams that can't lose

We played at Rupp two weekends in a row, the fact we will only lose by a basket shows how good we really played in these crock of horseshit games in this sport.

LMAO how else could it have ended without kasey air balling a lay up, if that kid touches the floor in the tournament get your L's out

Frickin Hill !!!

Don't blame Hill, Allen was fouled all over the back and the refs didn't call a thing but Florida was getting called on every single thing the last 5 minutes!!! I never seen a home cooking from the refs like this one!!!! But Coach White blew this game also because he kept his larger players outs...

Hello fourth seed.

Barry misses two FTs. Allen misses two FTs. Hill misses a FT and hash five TOs that lead to 6-8 Vandy points, depending on how you count them.

All this turns a solid road win to a close road loss.

This one is on White. Once Vandy solved our smaller lineup White should have gone back to Hayes

No way we are a 3 seed now despite that nutty RPI giving us a ton of credit for losing to all those top 25 teams on neutral courts and on the road. We really only have one big top 25 win the whole year - over KY at home and that is it. Our record is terrible against the top 25 RPI and we are only like .500 against the top 50. Its a frickin joke the RPI has us # 6 somehow looking at that.

You all do realize if we were playing anywhere else without a team that has to win they get trounced right? Don't fall for the bubble march madness bullshit, these crock of shit games are over on the road.

[QUOTE="MJWilliamson, post: 1002179, member: 5078"ibsideAgreed. I thought he was hurt, with as few minutes as he played in the second half. Vandy out rebounded us down the stretch.[/QUOTE]
Yep. Not to mention we had to help when ball went inside leaving us outof position defensively. It allowed vandy to drive

When we were up 12 and the under 12, not for a second did i ever think they were gonna win. Iv'e watched far too many hundreds of these bubble games as a gambler over the years to ever fall for that shit. It's pure comedy in a full of s*** sport, it is what it is. To be surprised by how the game ended, i just don't see how you can be at this point.

Man, that was a giganticly crappy way to end the season.

Changed sadgator's whole impression of this team in like 5 minutes.

Any team that collapses like that isn't going anywhere. Won't be surprised if we do not win a game in either post season tourney. Seriously...it was THAT bad.

Oh, and by the way, when you have 7 FULL seconds left, you've got time to find a good shot. Geez.

Not disputing our collapse in the final minutes but puzzles be how Vanderbilt can profoundly SUCK the whole year and the then try to make the NCAAT with a gazillion losses. They will fold like a 3 dollar beach chair if they make the tourney. Revert back to their normal sucking 30 point loss to Missouri selves.

If Ole Miss beats USC in Oxford tonight, we'll face the Vandy - A & M winner in tge quarters.

Very disappointing. Our 2 most reliable free throw shooters, Barry & Allen, missed 2 each when we had a chance to pad the lead to 12 or 14, giving them opportunities both times to cut the lead. But down the stretch, there were way too many defensive breakdowns and dumb fouls, not to mention missed layups and easy put backs. Vandy is NOT a very good team and they needed the win more than us, but the refs did not cost us the game. It was our own sloppy play.

Vandy didn't gain as much as I thought they would in the RPI beating us. Vandy could be on the bubble still going into that game even though it looks like a soft bubble this season.

Was Hayes injured? Don't think he played in the second half

LoL @ numbers: Rupp Arena, March Madness bubble schit, corrupt officials - it's a veritable axis of evil out there to screw UF.... props on the week and a half string of rants

yea because those two things don't reach and kill everyone in its path. Don't try to act like its' a Florida thing to make it seem like im just being biased and unreasonable.. It happens every year and it's so easy to see through, iv'e profited off of it, but that doesn't make it any less nonsense. Basketball is great at thwarting bubble teams opponents and home teams opponents

it's also interesting how uk fans don't care and even agree when i bring it up about the bamas in football... nor bama fans when i bring it up in basketball

but uk fans cry more about officials than every other fanbase COMBINED, but it's flat out crazy talk when someone else points out the actual obvious happening..Do uk fans wanna leave the conference again since A&M shot more ft's again and missed them all like Bama did?

I just can't/won't blame the officiating. I have never seen a vast conspiracy out there against UF athletics. The fact of the matter is that when we needed to make plays down the stretch today we didn't execute on either ends of the court. We turned the ball over, committed silly fouls, let them drive by defenders with no switch offs, giving them numerous easy layups and then couldn't make fairly easy shots on our end. White has dona great job with this team, but there are a lot of flaws that get exposed when we don't play together and make mistakes.

I figured we would get shafted some with Vandy at home and on the bubble for a spot in the tourney.

just don't be surprised how much better it goes when we aren't playing on the road and watching our opponents get way more fouls for basically nothing over the next two weeks

Meh, not a big deal. We're at, no worse, a 6 seed and still have a great shot at getting to the 2nd weekend. Once there, anything can happen.
