The Florida Gators enter the 2025 season inside the top 10 while looking for a third-straight College World Series appearance. Head coach Kevin O’Sullivan and the Gators finished the last campaign 36-30, having a very up and down season throughout. However, they still managed a College World Series appearance with much of the credit going to star Jac Caglianone, who broke many program records including the career home run record.

Impressive if a true freshman is going to start at 1b. Excited for Yost to come back healthy. D1 baseball said K Jones could be a star in CF. Lots of talent. Much deeper team than last year. Lineup as well as pitching. The rub is obviously we lose Cags and Neely, who were far and away our best players. I would like to see much less swing and miss from our lineup. Need Kurland and Heyman to hit like their freshman years. If Donay can make contact he’ll hit a bunch of balls out. He’s an impressive athlete. Pretty awesome baseball is back! Love to see us build some confidence this weekend. Air Force typically aren’t pushovers but would like to these guys show what they can do. Big thing is if Peterson can control the game.
Would be nice if we can stack some wins in non conference and midweek this year.
