Looks to me like the ship had power long enough to turn right…right into the bridge.Anyone watch the video? The narrative is the ship lost propulsion. My question is this: Do these ships that loaded not have pilot tug escorts? And why did the ship try to take the lower expanse of the bridge instead of the highest part of the span?
But what do I know? I can’t come up with a reason why this would be good for the Biden administration unless it’s some sort of lame “emergency response” bump?
I have run big boats with electronic throttles...never one w electronic steering. The pilot did release the port anchor to try to turn the boat to port...but it did not catch. There have been maintenance issues with this same ship recently. You can go to YouTube and watch many very large boats/ships loose control coming in to docks...it happens WAY too much. I live here in Destin and MANY 30-40 ft center console boats went to total electronic control...and a large number are getting rid of them because of losing control at times. Electronics and saltwater are never a good mix.
I know very little about this particular situation but there are a lot of people who believe it's possible the ship was sabotaged. And based on how the government and media lies, we are never going to know whether or not that happened. That's sad in itself.

I owned a twin engine diesel 40 footer for over 20 years..and I wondered about this also. Diesel naturally grows algae in it when water gets in it, and they had just refueled. You are constantly changing filters on these boats...especially if the fuel sits for any length of time
I HATE them...but it is not just the vehicles of snowflakes...its ones with wifi.Aren't E vehicles grand?
IF ANYONE believes a guy that had TWO FAILED presidential runs when he was younger, and NOT senile, got 81 million votes while hiding in his basement and refused to campaign(just like he will never take unscripted questions from the press) because he simply CANNOT complete a coherent sentence ...then they are too stupid to discuss ANYTHING with.
