Five-star safety Jacoby Mathews changes date of UF in-home visit with Billy

Billy sealed the deal with workplace visit with Mom & in home visit with Kamari Wilson -

The Gators will not be visiting Jacoby Mathews on Tuesday after all.

Mathews, a five-star prospect and the No. 2 safety in the On3 Consensus Rankings, spoke with Gators Online on Monday and said UF will be visiting him Friday instead.

The Louisiana native is also roughly 24 hours removed from his official visit weekend in Gainesville, UF, LSU and Texas A&M are the top options in his recruitment, but this could ultimately come down to the Gators and Tigers.

The in-state LSU, who previously held his commitment, will be hosting him this weekend for an official visit. That means UF will be paying him a visit just hours prior to his departure for Baton Rouge.

If he doesn't pass the ball around the perimeter until somebody takes a three point shot, or turn the ball over 15 times a game, he doesn't fit into the Mike White style of play.
