Has anyone seen this kid play or watched tape on him? From what I am reading Flipping this kid seems to be one of Mac's top recruiting priorities.

Is his skill set similar to Griers? I ask, because like Grier, depending on what site you use he is either pro-style or dual threat. Of course the real advantage to having a guy with a similar skill set is when WG moves on you are bringing in the same type of player.

Is it true he grew up a Gators fan? Do we have a realistic shot of flipping him?

I'd prefer Guarantano or Haskins, Franks seems stiff as hell to me. Guarantano reminds me of Grier and Haskins reminds me of a Deshaun Watson/Cam Newton hybrid. Franks is more similar to Logan Thomas who was at VT, but not nearly as fast. Ran a 4.9 at one of the spotlight camps.

Sign me up for anyone that resembles Cam. Now, with coaching change it seems like Haskins might be able to be flipped, are we still recruiting him?

Guarantano would be a homerun but have we shown any interest?

No, Haskins is dead set on going to Maryland for some reason, I guess to start. Other than that I don't get why he's hellbent on going to that place. And Guarantano is committed to Tennessee not Texas. But he's really good, and really fast. But the good thing is that he looks to pass first from his tape, kinda like Grier. I think Mariota is another good comparison for him, not as shifty though.

Nussmeyer said that Trask is better than any 5 star HS QB that he's seen all year.
(jus-sayin)

It might be nice, but I'm not really worried about if they get another QB or not at this point.

Nuss said......

Now I am even more worried.......

Understatement. The mess Bama has at QB now is in large part because of the QB's Nuss brought in, none of them were worth a damn. So much so that Kiffin had to play an ex-RB last year and then this year they are playing Coker who transferred in.

I thinks Franks is the highest rank of the three, but that Guarantano kid looks very impressive to me.

Definitely not taking anything away from Franks, but like Oozie said; he seems to be very static.
