Look, some will be in denial about this, but we just landed a very mediocre recruiting class that's the direct result of Mac and his staff being mediocre recruiters.

We're the flagship university in the country's most talent-laden state. We have more money and resources than all but maybe 3 programs in the nation. We send kids to the NFL and are coming off a 10-win season with an SEC Championship Game appearance. We could have done better.
Yes, we got some pretty nice pieces and filled some holes. But we also loaded up on a ton of 3-Star players, missed at DT and OT and were unable to land most of our top targets down the stretch. My fear is that, if unaddressed, our lack of talent will end up being Mac's downfall.
Mac will herald this publicly as a success, but recruiting is his weakness. Hopefully he makes some swift and drastic moves to bring in some better recruiters.
