I know you are right, but as a VERY proud American, it is very hard for me to let my television stop on one of their channels unless UF is playing. I refuse to support them.
Which is why I won't watch any movies with Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Sean Penn, Debra Messing, Ashley Judd... Or listen to songs by Alicia Keyes, Neil Young, David Crosby, Bruce Springsteen, well, with Bruce, I have to admit my hypocrisy goes only so far.

Women's softball I could get it. She probably swings from both sides of the plate. Football? She's terrible.

Agree. I recall trying to watch college football prior to ESPN. It sucked and ESPN has helped create the market for televised college football.
But like you, I just beg them to steer away from politics....mine, yours or theirs. Full stop.
She's unwatchable (unlistenable if you prefer). Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard...but worse.
I cannot stand the way she says "yuuurd" as in 40 yuuurd line. That's not the only one that bothers me but it tops the list.

it’s awful listening to man voice. It was ok when she was relegated 3rd tier Big 10 games… but now ESPIN has her doing top match ups. 🥵It’s painful listening to her during the women's college World Series.

When ESPN actually does sports, they're pretty good.

Trust me, if it's not a game I have an interest in, I intentionally punch numbers into the remote rather than scroll through and accidentally surf them. They are horrible. They do golf well, but that's because they simply use other networks anchors when it's not prime time for the main feed. That's NOT ESPIN talent, they are just piggybacking off of them.
ESPN stinks. Stopped watching Sportscenter more than a decade ago. Unless UF is competing- I don’t watch. I don’t miss ESPN one bit.
