ESPN announcers..........................

I don't give a crap what you believe, women do not know a damn thing about football. They never played it, never coached it, never cared about it other than a social event. There might be one in a hundred that knows any of the rules.
I take it that you're too young to remember the more-or-less regular Sunday games of coëd touch-football at what was once just an open field on Radio Road, on the south side of Broward and Rawlings dorms (then women-only), and across the street from Jennings (overall coëd, but with single-sex wings). By the time of their arrival at UF, some of the women who played more than once were the tomboys who'd spent years either playing with-or-again' family members in neighborhood games, or attentatively watching their brothers play the game (including playing at UF), and knew the rules well.

I also take it that when that broad field was incrementally covered (during my upperclassman years) with concrete recreation facilities, notably swimming pools and (more) tennis courts, those touch-football games didn't relocate, they were just no longer played.

There are enough lousy male commentators to go around, why add more fail to the equation?
For those women who do know the rules and the game, and are at least mostly free from the stiflingly nasal Vally-Goil accent, getting those women to displace the guys with Noo-Yawk and Noo-Joisey accents, would make for more pleasant viewing--and especially listening--for this multigeneration Southerner. And displacing any guys who snarl like Jim Rome seems to do for most of his radio broadcast.

Navigator is also not too keen on this whole "women getting to vote" thing.
LOL
When someone is as blindly prejudiced as Navi, there's little you can do to help. Sometimes you just have to sit back, chuckle at their ignorance, or pity their intolerance. Probably a little from column A and a little from column B.

Once you learn stereotypes have deep seated roots based in historical facts, you'll learn to relax a little. Check your man card at the door next time..................if in fact you are male. LOL!

Or.....could it be that stereotypes are perpetuated by those people who benefit from negative portrayals of others....or could it be that groups evolve over time.....or could it be that there are exceptions to the "rule" and these "exceptions" shouldn't be punished for the perceived "sins" of others.....
I really hope that you're not charged with educating the youth of America.

And LOL at "check my man card"....me thinks the gentleman doth protest too much....

Stereotypes wouldn't be stereotypes unless there is a solid track record of historical reference to benchmark said behavior. Otherwise they were be called anomalies. lmao...........

So let's just extrapolate a little....
The "stereotypes" that helped entrench and perpetuate racism/segregation/slavery....were those rooted in "historical fact".....very interested to hear your answer

I'm not old enough to comment on that. I was not here. Were you? I suspect you haven't crossed the 25 mile marker yet.

WOW......so you think there is a chance that the stereotypes used to establish slavery were cogent....that they had merit?!?! That the systematic oppression of a group of people was justified?!?!
I rest my case

Good thing you aren't a lawyer. What the hell does slavery have to do with gender/transgender/sexual differences and their related behaviors? Just admit you are wet behind the years and showing your lack of life experience.

LOL
By your own words, you've convicted yourself of a far greater "crime" than not being prejudiced about your in-game announcers.

Sorry, I let the actual game ruin your faux rant. You want to explain your incoherent statement? I'm convicted of nothing, I'm not on trial here. You are comparing gerbils and giraffes. This is about the birds and the bees, obviously you haven't evolved quite yet. Bless your heart.
