Good bail for EJ imo, and 3-star Kitna might want to join him in the portal....
They can get by next season with AR and Del Rio-Wilson, as both seem to be a better fit for ole Nappy-head's style of offense. And there's plenty of portal rejects available for depth.

According to a report from Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports, Jones plans to enter the transfer portal, though he will plan to play in the bowl game. Jones led Florida in passing and rushing, with 2,563 yards passing, and 19 touchdowns to go along with 696 yards rushing, and 4 touchdowns. Led the team in interceptions also.

Whether someone be a troll or somebody who is just being theirself, I actually don't mind people who seem to regal themselves in being the black sheep IF it's maneuvered in a clever and fresh way.

sadgator appreciates Jones’ loyalty and dedication to Florida over the years…but if you declare you are going into the portal, sadgator doesn’t think you should get to play in the bowl game…
The bowl game could get interesting. An entire staff of lame duck coaches, a starting QB that has hit the portal and a few opt outs.
A. He shouldn’t be playing in the game as what about the QB’s who ARE going to be Gators in 2022? I’d rather lose with them than win with a quitter. The old saying about “Don’t let the door!”
B. Every time he had a good game going he’d throw an awful interception. Wouldn’t it be weird if LSU got him since their starting QB Johnson is now in the Portal and they open with FSU next season?
C. I guess he thought he’d lose his job to AR15 next year?

IMO Richardson should start and stay in the game, and let the other guys (not Jones) do any relief or mop up duty. It's time for AR15 to fill those big boy shoes whether the result is good or bad. His ceiling is in the stratosphere compared to Jones. There's absolutely nothing to build on by playing Jones anyway.

I mean Billy can’t technically pull his scholarship, would we prefer Emory stay and take up a scholly?
I really don’t have an issue with Emory staying and playing in the bowl game. It is part of the season and he was on the team and I think has a right to play the last game if he so chooses.

It's probably best for Jones as he was never going to get it together with Richardson here. Curious to see where he ends up.
