Pretty much in 1990 is when Georgia football became a dumpster fire. I was at the Jax Landing hours after the game surrounded by Gator fans chanting its great to be a Florida Gator when a token Georgia fan screams, about time y'all won something. I yelled, it'll be a long time before ya'll win anything. Well, it actually took them another 6 years before they beat UF.
As a reminder for you Dwag fans, Georgia is 8-21 since 1990 vs Florida and totally pathetic neither of you can enjoy a rare 2 game win streak.

Not in the AP poll. That was Ohio State. But UGa was the 1942 champ according to such worthy polls as Litkenhous. There was no coaches poll then.

It's hilarious that they were so desperate to win ANYTHING that they forced their entire football team to join the ROTC (when you know those boys wanted to sign up to fight, just like the patriotic young men on other southern teams did) and then STILL DIDN'T WIN!

Florida wasn’t that far off from being a championship contender in Mullen’s first season. The Gators are confident and clearly have momentum after closing out the 2018 season the way they did. Over the final three-and-a-half games (South Carolina, Idaho, Florida State and Michigan), Florida played at a championship level. Over that span, the Gators outscored the opposition 166-49.

The incoming freshman class with 18 4-stars, 12 ESPN Top 300's, and 9 Early Enrolles could certainly help them get it done.
