Does any sane person think....

Yep despite the crazy wins lately we are regressing not progressing. Any good team would probably throttle us right now like Michigan did.

Nothing has changed and if anything we're regressing. We're seconds away from being 0-3 and you could argue the only reason we aren't is because the coaching on the other side is worse than ours. We've been outplayed in probably 10 of the 12 quarters we've played. I mean UK had TWO cases where they had 10 men on the field and didn't even send a defender out to cover a receiver. You don't see that two times in two years usually, they did it twice in one game. I'm sure we'll get lectured about how nobody suffers wins like UF fans watching that disaster though.

I'd rather be a team that looks well coached with a plan. It doesn't have to be either or.

FSU is 0-2. Which team would you rather be?

Truthfully, I'd rather be FSU, because you know they will continue to compete for final 4 spots, once they get Francois back, or once jumbo finds a new guy, which he will. This year might be a throw away because of Francois, but big picture they are way ahead of us. This is about as down as they're going to be and it's still probably a coin flip we beat them.

Why? Fisher does about as less with more than just about anybody in the country. Yesterday he lost again to another double digit underdog. I'd rather not be in our position or FSUs position. They have their fair share of coaching problems as well.

FSU is one player away
we are an entire coaching staff away
at least Jimbo has a history of competing - and quite frankly, the ACC is far and away better than anything the SEC has right now, not named bama...

Like how that NC State team lost to Muschamp and USCjr just a few weeks ago.

FSU has a few incompetent coaches themselves in Trickett and Kelly.

What 1 player is that? It appears to be they miss Dalvin Cook much more than they thought. MIs that the player your referring too?

You also referenced coaches in your post. FSU has some poor coaches as well.

I'd prefer not to be in FSUs situation either. I'd prefer to have better coaches than what we have and what FSU has. I'd prefer to have another Spurrier or Meyer if we are playing this game.

Respectfully disagree.

Poise is part of coaching. Those sumbitches stayed even-keeled when they had every reason to panic and give it up. They made the right moves and gave the players a chance to win the game. sadgator actually saw the KY game as an exceptional coaching job.

It is what it is. No sense in stressing about it. We know who we are and we know what this team is. I'm just enjoying the fact that we beat UT and U.K because I don't want to lose to either one.

Don't want to lose to Vandy either.

Fortunately, I think Bama broke them. I will be surprised if they come to our house fired up.

They actually did it three times, you could just only see it if you were at the game.. They got away with the third one and got a timeout called in time

Meyer has not been our coach for going on 7 years

Guess I need to be more defined. Because of the Urban Meyer debacle it’s beeen a domino effect since his first ER visit. From that day forward UF has been that bad on offense and how many OCs did Florida go through since that day?

Since Tim Tebow Florida hasn’t had much productivity on offense whatsoever..

Seriously, I'm so sick of hearing that.

Well prepare yourself for even more fiery Gator fans this week on the Finebaum show while they make fun of us for being able to see whats coming even though we have won a few games now.. They will understand soon..

We won on the road and actually DROPPED in the rankings. Which says it all...

With nine players facing felony charges...two of them the top returning playmakers...and still, Mac steers this team to another impressive victory. This team could have folded like a cheap suit. The coaches keep these guys fired up and they play the entire 60 minutes. FSU and other teams have cannot say the same against teams with equal or lesser talent. I am impressed with Mac and feel this guy is the long term answer once he gets the exact players he needs. This guy is here for the long term. Totally agree with your post!

How funny will it be if LDR canactially becgood enough to make good andcthe reason he sucked last year is because of the expectations, but now, after losing the starting job, he realizes how serious he needs to take it, and yeah...we win? Things?

I could actually see it. We have enough talent to beat everybody we play and now maybe found a running game. We just need a qb who can keep defenses off balance a little bit and pick up some first downs and the occasional touchdown. We'd still get smoked by Bama of course.

It's unfortunate we don't have James Robinson either. He could have been a good red zone threat.

Jesus, most of you have no idea what you're looking at when you watch football. First, that UK team probably wins 8 games this year. Playing a close game and winning on the road in an amped up stadium is by no means a failure. Second, our talent level has a higher ceiling, but is largely young, learning, and not operating at their full potential yet. Thirdly(can I say that?), Coach Mac inherited a team that had no depth at QB, 6 scholarship offensive lineman(that's a situation that is a minimal 3 year fix by itself)and no SEC caliber wrs, well one that couldn't stay out of trouble. That he's done what he's done is nothing short of amazing. To say nothing of the massive injuries last year, 10 suspended players this year, and losing Grier in year one.

Del Rio is going to be a huge improvement, the only reason he wasn't the starter from the 1st game was he had TWO major surgeries. With him in the game he makes the line calls, gets the backs in position for the proper blitz pick up and makes audibles, none of these things were happening with franks. (trust me on this) We'll get better as the season goes on as we get healthy and LDR gets back in the swing of things. Try and enjoy it instead of suffering through victories

ps UF is going to struggle some this week too, Vandy isn't as bad as Bama made them look, they're going to be out to prove that. UF is going to win, but try not to commit sepuku when we don't win by 3 scores..............

I’m going to laugh if LDR comes out this week and blows Vandy away…then I can say “I told you so some tim e back"… but that is a big if

No disrespect to you, but I can't stand posts like these. Minimizing people's concerns as if we're all just mad we're not winning by enough so you can all push the 'spoiled Gator fans' narrative. That shit is old. These were the same things said almost word for word when we were barely scrapping by bad teams under Muschamp, then the luck ran out, the program fell apart, and the people calling out all the spoiled UF fans were nowhere to be found. Now here we are with the same thing.

Here's a hint, when you start to focus your energy on the fans its usually because the results on the field can't speak for you. So distract with how the fans expectations are out of whack, as if anybody is expecting championships. How about fixing the damn offense even slightly after 3 years?
