Democrats: The BULLY party as Arizona dems censure Sinema because of her vote.

This isn't completely accurate. Manchin tried to get Republicans to support his voting bill and he only got Lisa M. The democrats tried to work with the Republicans on the crime bill. The issue is McConnell is determined not give Biden many wins.
Crying about politics. Pelosi was hell bent on not giving Trump (and Americans) any wins. Botox Nan blocked ALL funding for border protection and a barrier, a paltry 5 billion dollars. And actually 25 billion was needed, a mere drop in the bucket considering how much it ultimately would save US taxpayers from the invasion of our infrastructure (schools, indigent medical care, homelessness, welfare payments, etc). She also blocked an infrastructure bill (real infrastructure, not BS social spending). Never allowed it to come to a vote. So eff Biden, The Turtle is doing something right.

I'm just providing facts. Not saying Pelosi didn't do the same. Just pointing out that let's not ignore why this people try to pass things with one party vote.

With every good conversation, you provide a lie. Trump never had an infrastructure bill. He just kept Tweeting about one, like his health care plan.

WOW, Pelosi thought Trump put out a plan, and is touting here how hers was better.
Oh, and another talking about how Congress killed Trump's plan.

Trump And Democrats Agree On $2 Trillion For Infrastructure, But Not On How To Pay

They agreed to a dollar amount but not a plan. From your own article

"But powerful Republicans are already tapping the brakes".

That's not entirely fair.

If Trump and Pelosi had agreed on that bill in principle, it was all but signed. All the Dems and most Republicans would have signed it.

No, it's actually Kal caught in a flat out lie. Same thing happened with 2020's fall stimulus proposal. I remember Wolfe Blitzer giving Pelosi hell about not taking the deal on the table. It was aired on CNN. Pelosi told Blitzer to go fly a kite. Blitzer calls her out about it being about not giving Trump a win, right around the 7:30 mark.

Yeah, Trump wanted to spend ALL the $ on infrastructure, while Pelosi, the rest of the DEMS and a few Rinos wanted to added in nothing but PORK.
You guys are all over the place. If the democrats was making an offer then there wasn't a deal. They were clearly still negotiating. Which means there wasn't a deal.

Probably so but you believe in the filibuster because it promotes compromise as I was told. Pelosi wanted to compromise and Trump didn't. Seems like Trump was saying this is a take it or leave it deal, which goes against what some people on here was saying.

Fair...but Pelosi wasn't trying to compromise. She was flatly obstructing.

Given that, that was legal and I still believe in the filibuster and her right to use it. That sort of thing is designed to be corrected when she runs again by her constituents and/or those who made her Speaker.

I'm definitely not her biggest fan. I think Pelosi and Mitch were the worse people in power for America in my lifetime. They both divided us so much.

Agree, and both are horrible human beings for many reasons. Perhaps my lifetime as well.

Because senators didn't vote (14) and no filibuster. Back then instead of voting no against your party, you just didn't vote. Yet, my point was progress was able to happen because of no filibuster. So at times getting around the filibuster is needed. Obviously it's not needed for a tax bill or social spending bills but it can be needed.
Filibuster did exist even at the start of the founding. It is cloture that is new.

It was also an amendment that passed which has a higher threshold.

I generally agree that Clyburn is an individual of conscience and is seeking to help out black americans live a better life. I, generally, applaud that. He is, unlike you, a reflexsive democrat which is increasingly looking like a socialist/progressive.

I happen to think though that the John Lewis voting rights bill is unnecessary and a state takeover.

I don't beleive they use filibuster in the House.

I'll always respect Clyburn. He's not perfect but he tries to better things for my race.

It is a state takeover and I as previously stated, we are getting to the point where it maybe needed. Too many different rules, different equipment, alleged fraud, etc.

Having one set of everything could end the election integrity/voter suppression debate.

Wow. You better vote the way we want or else. What a party. How the hell do you censure somebody based on the way they vote. And democrats preach their actions are to save democracy. What a laugh.

Since this stuff bothers you SO much 🙄
