Here's my beef on it all. The logo doesn't bring out racism. I've used Aunt Jemima my entire life and not once did I suspect myself or anyone around me being offended. And I bet 99.9% of those who work at the factories that make these products never had a clue or never were offended of any racial intent. If the label would have said, "Aunt Jemima - the syrup of slaves," then yes, I would have been offended. This is getting ridiculous. And your final quote is exactly spot on. Only the radicals of today, whether black or white, are making this out to be such a racist thing. Now this one I can at least understand why SOME people are upset. White liberals are to be completely ignored on this as they are simply trying to sow racial division, same as when they get shit stirred up about the Land O Lakes logo.
From my understanding, both logos are based on actual former slaves. So that alone is enough for some people to get upset, and I get it.
The brands will now issue statements about how they are making changes because they are committed to sensitivity toward black Americans and care about their feelings. Which is of course complete bullshit, if they cared about their feelings they would have changed the logos a century ago because the same people that would be offended today, were offended then.
They are doing something NOW because again WHITE LIBERALS are making this an issue.

Now there you go bringing up Mrs. Butterworth. That jsut set my day to kick someone's butt when I was all relaxed and settled in for a smooth ride. And the Land 'o Lakes Indian Maiden was the work of a Native American woman from the Ojibwa tribe. Her children were shocked and hurt to find out that her work could now be deemed hurtful, racist, and offensive.
And Mrs. Butterworth? She has no racially identifiable features. She's just a buxom Granny.![]()
That's funny.I saw where someone said change the name to Auntie Fa to appease the white liberals.
