I've said it on this board since last December. We have had a cultural problem for a few years. It is mostly with Muschamp signees but Mc is in charge of those guys now so he needs to step up and be a leader. Take their damn Twitter away or monitor it. Brush them up on not talking crap they can't back up. Have them forget the slogan "DBU"because the DB's aren't meeting any special exceptions.
The twitter warriors were and are Muschamp guys. VHIII...Tabor...I haven't heard of any drug test failures in a while but those were Treon, Tabor, and Grier. Muschamp guys. Like I've said though, I'd take a class ranked #14 if it is filled with mostly high character kids. Even if it means a couple of 9-3seasons with less arrests and crap talkers. Those type of players usually lead to long program runs of 11,12,13 type wins teams in the future.

Biggest factor in this game was that we forgot how to cover receivers. How many of your touchdowns were from blown coverages? Enough to win, that's for sure. Even baldy can hit a receiver without a defender within 20 yards.
Not really gloating. More like irritating. What I am really waiting on is Instantgoober. He is in hiding on one of his extra planets with his Space Aliens. Him I want to see with his 27 pages of excuses and stats showing that Florida actually won the game were it not for all them bad calls from the refs who stole the game, yada,yada, yada.
I am far more angry at the UT coaches that were unequal to the task of facing their Florida Counterpart for the last 25 years. There were games where UT won because of the talent of the players but not because of the intelligence of the coaches.
And it was more of the same in the 1st half of yesterday's game.
I will give them credit for having the sense to see that what they were doing in the 1st half didn't work and come up with a different game plan for the 2nd half. They finally earned their pay

Remember when Spurrier used to call the Seminoles the Semis? It was a rub on them calling themselves the Noles. He just decided to truncate a different part of the original nickname.
That used to make FSU fans all weepy and mad. So they came up with Gates as a truncation of Gators. Not quite sure how they managed it, as it inserts a completely different letter. But intelligence and proper schooling have never been associated with most FSU fans.
Now, if that wanted to call us the Allis, or Alligs, either as a possible truncation for our original nick name, the Alligators, then that might have made some sense. But they are FSU fans. Making sense is not something they can be accused of very often.

it's cute to see you thinking Tennessee is a good football school now.. If it isn't obvious what it takes for them to EVER beat UF twice in 13 years nothing will. We are 19-6 in the last 25 years against the vols, get off your sister for a minute and have her explain that to you....
Your defensive scheme is a high risk/high reward type. CBs play tight man to man and press at the LOS preventing the short passes. However, if the WR gets free it spells disaster for long passes. Also, there were mismatches with Slot receivers on LBs that were exposed in the game.
1st TD pass was a simple RB curl up the sideline that the OLB released after 3 yards and had no Safety help behind him.
2nd was a perfect post to the TE over tight coverage. Pass was thrown over the top. Nothing the defense could do other than grab him in the end zone before he caught the ball.
3rd was Tabor getting suckered on a stop and go up the sidelines and the safety being 30 yards away. That was the only really long pass
Last one though was a brilliant call. A 6'4" W/R with 4.4. speed lining up in the backfield. He goes in motion and becomes the 2nd Flanker. He runs a slant over the middle and that MLB had no hope.
