Malik Davis and coach Thompson from Jesuit talk about his commitment to Florida.

Blake's Take: This is a guy that has accumulated over 5,000 yards rushing in his high school career, so talent and production isn't in question. Florida may have offered later in the process, but it was always the offer Davis was looking for as he grew up a fan of the Gators. He was slated to commit to North Carolina earlier this week, but the offer from UF was too much to pass up. With Florida splitting ties with Adarius Lemons, this leaves the Gators with only one back in the 2017 class. It also shouldn't be counted out that all four of Florida's current running backs may not be on the roster next season.
