This is sort of a double edged sword for a program like Florida.
On one hand, the SEC looking so damn good during bowl season helps the league's reputation, which in-turn helps the Gators in recruiting and when it comes to ranking in the playoff picture. Top prospects want to play in the top NFL ready conference and stronger conferences are rewarded in the rankings.
On the other hand though, these teams are ending the season on a positive note and momentum heading down the stretch in recruiting and into the offseason programs isn't a good thing for Florida.
I think one thing bowl season shows more so than anything else, with a month to prepare, you separate great, good and average coaches.
