Inflation hits fresh 40-year high in May with consumer prices surging 8.6%
The May consumer price report, released on Friday, sheds light on whether inflation is peaking, or whether consumers will continue to face rising costs in coming months.
At least under $3/gallon. Fuel cost impacts everything....Nothing gets fixed until gas goes below $2 again
You'd think our slower ones would understand this, but they have no clue. The big brown delivery trucks don't run on fairy dust.At least under $3/gallon. Fuel cost impacts everything....
Precisely - it undergirds all of our economy. You'd think our slower ones would understand this, but they have no clue. The big brown delivery trucks don't run on fairy dust.
The fact of the matter is nothing else is ready for prime time. The ruhtards believe if they can punish fossil fuels enough, the adoption period for alternatives will be shortened. Nothing is going to do that until technology catches up. When it does, free markets will make the transition quickly enough. You can't put square pegs in round holes. But that is what socialists and warmists do.Precisely - it undergirds all of our economy.
I applaud the inclusion of green technologies (solar, hate wind, hydro, nuclear), but our fossil fuel industry has driven record lower inflation for decades. It should be celebrated for it's role not demonized or (for political reasons) sued.

Actually inflation is really up to as much as 12% now. It's the total eradication of our fossil fuels and other natural resources for the sake of "climate change." It's just sickening to even think about this because you know it's true.It is crazy how expensive the basics are now. Food, gas and housing is running much higher than that fraudulent 8%+ number.
It's not 100% about climate change. A good deal of it is planned chaos by globalists who want to take down America a peg or two. The amount of global envy of the US by these people is staggering. They jet around the globe and then point fingers at our carbon footprint. It's so ridiculous that it would be funny if not so infuriating.Actually inflation is really up to as much as 12% now. It's the total eradication of our fossil fuels and other natural resources for the sake of "climate change." It's just sickening to even think about this because you know it's true.
Love nuclear, not nearly enough of that form being produced.Precisely - it undergirds all of our economy.

I believe you are correct. Two months ago I bought bulk pool chlorine for 6 bucks for a 2.5 gallon container. I went back this week to refill, price had gone up to 8.50 for same. That's in less than 2 months time. That number is BS. It’s far, far higher than that!
But don't worry. Biden says unemployment is down. That's supposed to calm the nation's worries.I believe you are correct. Unemployment is down because "most" businesses are back up and running. Somebody please! Talk @CFAGator down off the ledge. 😂But don't worry. Biden says unemployment is down. That's supposed to calm the nation's worries.
Agreed, across the board.Love nuclear, not nearly enough of that form being produced.
As others have said, green renewables are nowhere near ready to take over as the mainstream forms yet.
Last time I checked, there ain’t many A380’s able to get airborne from solar, batteries or wind turbines.
Biden takes credit for the inevitable unemployment numbers coming down out of a pandemic that a chimp could have done.Unemployment is down because "most" businesses are back up and running. Somebody please! Talk @CFAGator down off the ledge. 😂
That's not even the worst of it. Save two Senators that didn't have their heads up their asses, Biden wanted spend trillions more of Brandon Bucks. Now THAT is even more effed up.CPI in January 2021 when Biden took over---------1.4%
CPI in April 2021, just 3 months later–---------------4.2%
So Biden tripled the inflation rate in just his first 3 months
He can shove the Putin excuse up his ass, but what he did do was spend almost 2 trillion dollars, which wasn't even needed but did set the inflation rate on fire.
Interesting that Iowa has 43%+ of their energy from Wind.
That meme never gets old...Anyone else remember when the Potato said Build Back Broke would help fight inflation?

Bama1137 - it's actually a really interesting statistic. And it is happening in red states.
I looked the stat up in 2020 as we drove from our place in West Michigan to our ski place in Colorado. We drove through I-80 and Iowa.
There were wind mills EVERYWHERE. It was almost distopian. We then looked up the percent of energy from wind. It's 41.9%. Amazing.
Wind-powered Electric Generation in Iowa | Iowa Utilities Board
Iowa's Annual Wind Generation This information relates specifically to electricity generated from wind resources. For more information on electric generation in Iowa from all sources, please see the Iowa's Electric Profile page.iub.iowa.gov
You also see the other high states: SD, ND, OK, etc. - hardly Biden country.
My view is that is wind or solar or nuclear works and it is clean and helps reduce our reliance on foreign oil - all for it.
Take a look at the stats above. Again, this is Iowa done under a Republican governor, Terry Brandstadt.

The nation has been in a depression since November 3rd 2020.Well, it will be reported soon that we are in a recession .
they ar elying about the number....I do not know where they are getting those BS numbers from...but fuel prices effect EVERYTHING(almost) and fuel is up 100%. 9% my azz....I would bet it is closer to in the 20's.
