You are way too conspiratorial. I think that originally this was a plan based on good faith. Dems being themselves were going to criticize Trump no matter what he did. Its the same plan used on W from day one in office until and even after they got their lies about Katrina to stick. Dems are the disloyal opposition.

Until Clinton perjured himself Pubs complained about policy and as for zer0 I cant recall any real,opposition to anything but policy.

Schumer and Pelosi were literally dancing in the streets in February and telling everyone to come join them, perfectly fine! DeBlasio was telling everyone around this time that person to person transmission of the virus was impossible.

By March, it was a 'worldwide health crisis' with 2.2M projected deaths, with an immediate and lengthy shutdown with no end in sight being the only possible solution.

The entire media and dem approach and view of covid flipped on a dime in a couple of weeks. It's was as if you could see the lightbulbs going off over their heads.
