Interesting how Florida is not only not ranked in either major basketball human poll - but they aren't even on the verge of being ranked.
The USA Today Coaches Poll has 46 teams receiving at least one vote. Florida isn't included.

In the Assocaited Press Poll, 43 teams have at least one vote. Florida isn't one of them.

However, computer based polls are much kinder to the Gators.
Jeff Sagarin has Florida #26 based on the formula for his computer generated poll.

Ken Pomeroy also has the Gators #26 in his computer generated poll.

Naturally, part of it is humans look mostly at wins and losses, while computer models take into account SOS and who those losses are to.
Florida has a chance to pick up what would be their first quality win if they can beat Vanderbilt this evening (ranked #25 and #32 by the computers)
