I think there might be a difference between a team that is disappointed they didn't get to play for a title and come into the bowl game unmotivated against a small time opponent vs playing for a shot at the final four. I think Boise might find out there is a significant difference.
We shall see. I hope you're wrong. James Frankilin has not be very good in big time games. And Boise has been an excellent program for a lot of years.

Georgia quarterback Carson Beck will miss the remainder of the season with an injury to the elbow of his throwing arm suffered late in the first half of the Bulldogs' 22-19 overtime victory against Texas in the SEC championship game earlier this month.
Not sure on Boise State but they did only lose to Oregon 37 - 34 on the road and Jeanty had almost 200 yards that game.
Hopefully either them or AZ St put up a good fight.
I am hoping ND can find a way to beat Georgia.
I think a lot of us are remembering the days when teams like Nebraska had 100 man rosters (walk-ons FTW!) and almost every player was a 5th year senior. Those teams were like machines. Today everybody has freshmen participating all over the place and everybody has warts. I honestly look at the teams this year and think they all stink.

Hard to say. We see how coaches handle QB situations sometimes. Hopefully he isn't that good and no better than Beck so ND might can beat them.

RB and Heisman candidate for Boise State found out that when you face a top 20 defense that it can be a long night.
This game was a lot closer than the final score. Penn State focused on stopping the AA RB for Boise and he still got over 90 yards. But it was Boise's mistakes that cost them the game, IMO. 2 missed field goals, a touchdown called back from a penalty, 11 penalties and a couple of bad turnovers. Boise State is really good. Penn State was the better team tonight and if they had just stuck with their running game they would have beaten them more easily. Still, Boise deserved to be in the in the playoffs, as they can compete with anybody. Congrats to Penn State and I think they have the best chance to beat the Notre Dame/Georgia winner and I'll be pulling for them to make it to the title game.

They're saying the dead guy didn't act alone and there are probably 4-5 more accomplises running around. Plus the Superdome, which is about a mile away from where the attack occurred, is on lockdown and employees were told not to come to work until all secuirty sweeps have been completed. Not worth risking more deaths until they get more information - especially just to play a damn football game.
