Other than shafting UF out of the top 25 when, objectively speaking, should be top 10, not a lot of surprises.

By Conference:
SEC - 8
PAC 10 -6
ACC, Big 12 & Big 10 bring up the rear at 3 a piece.

Well first of all, the ACC should have 3.63 not just 3 as ND is ranked 11th and under agreement is 5/8ths of a member.

Secondly, I would capture your crowing soon. I've got a feeling Louisville upsets Auburn as the Cards are shockingly underrated this year and the Barn is way overrated as is usual. Plus, most people acknowledge Virginia Tech is going to be substantially better this year than last and they smoked Ohio State AT Columbus last year, this year it's a night game in Blacksburg. So that is by no means a sure win for your second favorite ex-coach still coaching. Lastly, because that's all Miami deserves...Miami is probably overdue for a ranked season. Kaaya is a quality QB and IF Meeahmee can keep him healthy then they should have a very good season.

Georgia Tech is WAY underrated as well and that shows clear SEC bias. Since in the Pawl Slimebaum mindset only SEC wins somehow count, Georgia Tech beat then top 10 UGA in Athens and then smoked Miss State in the Orange Bowl. Georgia Tech has 13 returning starters including its QB and 4 the 5 O Line that helped lead them in the country on the ground. Georgia has 12 returning starters. So since GT beat them at their own place (plus Miss State since that's all that matters apparently) and has more starters returning including the main strengths of their offense, there is NO reason that Georgia should be ranked 9th and GT ranked 17th other than SEC bias.

UGA always gets a preseason bump, I don't think it's necessarily an SEC thing as much as it's a loveable puppies thing. Spurrier has been taking jabs at them about it for years, long before the SEC got it's deserved hype.

They are usually overranked that's true.

And I think its because they are always in the top 5 talent wise (see NFL draft) and everyone always rationalizes that this year will be THE year they finally break through and it never happens.

Maybe because Tech is 5-20 against uga in the last quarter century? On a side note, uga is usually over rated, and I do think Tech will be solid this year.

GT is not better than UGA, if you watched the game last year you could see that UGA fluked it up really bad themselves.. See you guys wanna hold on to certain wins for ACC teams but do the opposite for the SEC teams when they bash their brains in on the reg.

You lost me at, UL upsets Auburn. Not going to happen. Want to bet some $$$$?

I seriously doubt it. I don't see Louisville being all that good this year. They lost a lot and are probably looking at an 8-4 or 7-5 campaign. People are definitely sleeping on NC State though. They have a chance to be this year's Mississippi State. They won't climb to number 1, but they could win 10 games and finish in the top 15. I don't think people realize how much they improved from year 1 to year 2 under Doeren.

Is Grantham the blitzer still the DC for UL?

Because his defenses got absolutely TORCHED against Malzahns offenses at UGA

LOL you must have been watching that game with your SEC blinders on. The only reason UGA was even in the game was some fluky screwups by GT. GT had almost a 100 extra yards of offense and nearly double the Muschamp win score (time of possession). That wasn't a fluky loss by Georgia. By hook and crook and playing at home they managed to stay in it into the end despite being dominated on the field.

I would say he couldn't be THAT bad since he just turned a big $$$$$ offer from the NFL but was just the Raiders.

UGA fumbled literally inside the 1 yard line on a fluke, like twice. I saw the game, UGA was not the worse team on paper or on the field. But that's why college is what it is, the best team loses a lot more in that sport than anything else.

You get so butthurt about the SEC. Georgia is supposedly your most fierce rival (lol) yet you are soothing them whispering in their ear and softly petting them "you were the better team" "it's okay guys we know we're better than them we're sec brothers" stroke stroke. Pathetic.

What if I was saying it about Georgia Tech? Then you wouldn't care

meH.

The Ga tech offense is designed to eat up time. I think if you bother to look, GaTech has a higher TOP in nearly every game they play, win or lose. That is a stupid way to look at it. Or, better said, that is a Muschamp way of looking at it.

Georgia choked that game away.

Works for me....FSU is in it and UF and scum aren't.

You know they really buy into that crap up here? Had to point out to a friend that Mich St plays TWO of the top 25 and OSU plays one.
I just posted on FB the top 25 and told all of my friends in Florida that I don't to hear about "how tough" your schedule is if your not on the top 25 toughest schedules...of course several Null fans chime in but I said there are several others that have no problem getting 10 wins and making a run the 'The Ohio State' and others. Hell if played the schedule some of these teams did we would hit 9 wins this year...maybe 10. Not saying that Ohio State isn't good because they will be...but it is what it is. The SEC is a slaughter house.

I think Auburn is being overhyped a bit but I'd be very surprised if they lost to Lville. VT sucks and I imagine they won't be that good this year either. VT hasn't been good in quite a few years actually and I think Frank Beamer is done.

I agree somewhat with VT. For some reason it's getting a lot of preseason love and the various "prognosticators" are going with them over Miami and most shockingly Georgia Tech. I think Georgia Tech wins that side of the ACC easily with MAYBE Miami challenging if they can keep Kaaya healthy. Virginia Tech is going to be a solid team probably equivalent to Tennessee but I don't see them winning their side of the ACC.

But Louisville.....I think Petrino is a loathsome person who runs dirty programs just like "Corch Irvin Meyer" but....just like Meyer he gets a lot out of his collection of criminals that he assembles. I think Auburn is the better team from a player talent level but I think Petrino wins.

Well, I will be pulling for The Ville and VaTech in both those games....

Wouldn't bother me at all if Auburn and Ohio St lost, esp. Auburn. I didn't say I was pulling for them I just said I thought they would win.

I would say Jimbo is right up there with his collection of criminals he assembles as well. It doesn't get much worse than sexual offenders and sexual harassers.

Did VT make a bowl game last year?

Yea only thing worse is murderers playing for your team

This is an impossible rebuttal for FSU fans, save yourself the time...

And I'm not necessarily defending Urban Meyer either but for an FSU fan to bring it up is comedy at its finest considering all the things that have happened at FSU.

FSU still has a lot of work to do as from memory I think we had the 16th most arrests, but even the cleaned up Muschamp team from last year had the second most arrests in the country. Still a HUGE improvement from when Corch Irvin Meyer let his players go running and gunning around town but by no means something you can throw back in our face.

Both schools are awful when it comes to utilizing actual student athletes and instead a just get the fastest thugs we both can get our hands on. Miami is no clean actor either. And truthfully all Div 1 except maybe a few like Stanford are guilty.
