People are underestimating Clemson's defense. They can lock down the Bama receivers one on one. The question is can they stop Henry?

I think people are way overrating this Bama team. Clemson's strengths and Bama's weaknesses overlap a good bit. Bama can't cover the pass and struggle to pass offensively. Clemson will hit some deep plays and they'll keep Coker in check. So if you think Bama is going to dominate Clemson it must be because you think Bama is gonna line up and run it down Clemson's throat. And considering Clemson has a beastly front 7 idk why anyone thinks that is gonna happen. I'm betting it comes down to both QB's and for my money, give me Watson over Coker.

Agree with that. If Clemson can stay out of too many obvious passing situations they can move the ball. If not, they'll be in trouble because that pass rush is one of the best I've seen.

Their defense was pretty worn out by the end of the year. Think they played 10 straight weeks. They played well against OU after getting some rest.

Great questions. But the reall issue will be the Clemson offense against the Alabama defense

I think Clemson will throw on Bama and the qb will have some nice runs. That has been a good formula against Bama all year. Yeah Bama is going to pound it but in the end, if Dabo does not pull the yearly one game meltdown (hasn't happened yet), I think they pull it off. Clemson's offense is darn good.

And the thing about Clemson, they take what you do really well and use it against you. Clemson has a variety of screens they use to those wideouts that will burn Bama when Bama pin their ears back. And they use that to open up their very good qb/rb run game and deep throws. This is going to be an intriguing game for sure. Clemson is going to struggle to contain Henry but you better believe Watson is as good as there is in the country and Bama is going to have their hands full with him too. I actually can't wait for this one.

The key to Clemson winning or losing is Watson. If he can run the ball against Bama he keeps them in it and then Gallman can start getting yards. Watson will have to throw and run but he has proven he can do that. If Bama stops Watson, Clemson dies on the vine. I think they will struggle to do that.
