Urban Meyer isn't coming through that door Gator fans. Long gone are the days of the Florida Gators being a college football powerhouse

The following UF coaches have defeated Kentucky during the current 29 game winning streak:

Galen Hall
Gary Darnell
Steve Spurrier
Ron Zook
Urban Meyer
Will Muschamp
Jim McElwain

Ignore the UL fan posing as a UK fan

UK might cover with 17 points, but a win would be like expecting a unicorn carrying a virgin carrying Pappy 23 bourbon in one hand and Blantons in the other to party with me...... And she doesn't drink bourbon

UL fan? Ha you are rich. I've been a Uk fan for close to 50 years and have grown up to hate the dirty birds. Fact of the matter is uk has come extremely close to beating the gators the past couple times and two years ago did beat em if it weren't the the refs. The clock hit 0 before the snap all you gator fans know it

You could also add Charlie Pell to that list as a footnote. From 1980 - 1985, the Gators had a six-game winning streak which occurred previously before this current 29-game winning streak. That 1986 Florida loss to UK was a crazy fluke - it still bugs me today.

From the above record, Kentucky had the upper hand over Florida in the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, and the 1970s. The wildcats' first win over Florida was in 1917, a 52-0 win - ouch!

Before 1980, Kentucky was actually leading the series over Florida (16-14) the entire time the series began.

50 years old, roughly, and hasn't learned to not talk sh#t to fans of a team that has beat his team for 29 years. "Make America Great Again".

If so, then you must have watched our 1984 Florida football team defeat Jerry Claiborne's Kentucky team, 25-17, to win their first SEC title on your field (Lexington).

Of course, Kentucky was one of the seven SEC schools that voted to strip UF of its first ever SEC title that year which was won fairly on the football field by our team. Only Auburn & Alabama voted for Florida's side.

This is ironic on Kentucky's part because the SEC decided not to strip Kentucky of its 1976 SEC title, about a decade earlier, despite that team was also about to go on NCAA probation.

But after all of the football success that Florida has enjoyed over the years (i.e, three national titles, three Heisman winners, 8 SEC titles, etc.), we won't hold this BETRAYAL from your school anymore. Or, will we? ;)

Go Gators (winners over Kentucky in 35 out of 36 last meetings)!

November 15, 1986....the last time Kentucky beat Florida.

#1 movie was Crocodile Dundee and #1 song was Take my breath away from the movie Top Gun....Reagan was President.

A gallon of gas and a dozen eggs were both under $1. I may not have even had my drivers license. Too long ago to remember for sure.

This gave me a good chuckle...

Dan Marino was in only his 4th season with the Dolphins. The Bucs were winning 2 games a year. The Jags were the better part of 10 years from their debut.

Don't really care about the virgin, but you had me at Pappy 23 and Blantons

The Cats say they are on an 18 year win streak in the game coming up with us and that may be enough to stop the 29 year streak finally.

This will be a sweet thread to come back to on saturday after we go down and whoop up on you gator fans. I got tickets to the game, hope to eat some gator before kickoff!

Where have you been the last 29 years? We certainly haven't seen you visit this board.

UF is 38-25 since Meyer left, even with all of their coaching turnover.
Kensucky is 19-41, and 0-5 vs UF in that same span. o_O

And since Meyer left, UF has had an 11 win season, and a 10 win SECe-C season.
You'd have to go all the way back to 1984 to even find a 9 win kensucky season....

Who is it again that is long gone as far as being any kind of a power in the SEC?
And why would UF need to be a 'power' to put it to kensucky for a 30th consecutive time?
