This country could survive with very low tax rates. The issue is the government has gotten so big that when they want to tax more, you figure it’s no big deal.
They could drop all tax rates into the teens or twenties and we’d be just fine.

The reason why I’m tough on Biden is because I see through his shtick. He’s a copy and paste Democrat swamp creature. As much as I dislike Sanders and vehemently disagree with his policies, he at least has a vision. Biden has no vision and at this point in his life he just rolls with what is popular or sounds like a good idea.
I don’t want a president that just goes with the flow and has policies that are anti American and anti freedom. A huge reason why I like Trump is because he’s not afraid to tell you where to stick it if he doesn’t agree. Trump isn’t a copy and paste politician and his policies are pro America.

I was going to start a thread to ask that but I'll ask you now. People who are anti government, what do you guys expect from the government? What do they exist for in that world?
In my humble opinion, the federal government should be the size of a pea. The IRS and federal reserve should be non existent. Our intelligence agencies have too much power and need to be consolidated into one. Much of the federal government power needs to be turned back to the states. Taxes are way too high for all classes and businesses are taxed too high.
In a nutshell, our taxes should pay for security (military) and the salaries of the elected officials. The rest is complete and utter bull shit. The constitution is the founding document and it’s not up for debating. I’m all for adding amendments over time If they make sense, such as allowing women and colored people to vote, those make sense. Taking away constitutional rights, such as restrictions on the second amendment is restricting freedom.
For the record, I’m very pro success. If you came up with a multi billion dollar idea and capitalized on it, I’m the first one to congratulate you and I don’t want your success taxed because someone thinks you made too much, that’s bull shit. That goes for the rich, the struggling small business owner, the upper class and even our own fry cuck. Success shouldn’t be taxed to death.

4 decades in the federal government as an elected politician with very little to show is no different than the free loader who collects unemployment because they refuse to get a job. Biden has always worked in government, he’s the quintessential swamp creature. He used to have the gift of gab, he’s lost that with age.
I don’t fault anyone doing business in China. I don’t like it but I get it. What I don’t like is when our STEM sectors are tied to the CCP where we willy nilly swap secrets or hand over money in the form of grants, tax payer money. That’s not including the intellectual property theft that the CCP engages in.

NC got in trouble a few years back for making laws targeting black people so they have a difficult time voting. Sometimes I think the States right crowd want each state to be it's own country.
I am anti big government too. I just think the federal government should be small when it comes to interfering in our lives but they should set the laws for the US. That's how we end up with some states it's legal and some it's illegal, like with recording a conversation. So stupid but I do agree about the spending getting out of control.

I don't have an issue with people making money in China. I have an issue with people who talks "America first" and makes money in China. When this government was founded, it was founded on the belief that freedom is a God given right. That your success was determined by the sweat of your brow. Now I fully understand that as times have changed, so has the definition of success or how hard one works but do you honestly feel free today compared to the freedom that was enjoyed when this government was founded? Why does the federal government need to continue to tax your hard work over and over again? The game is slanted to the favor of the few and it has nothing to do with skin color and everything to do with decisions that are made in DC, our elected officials.

There is a huge difference between growing your company, starting businesses in other countries than shipping jobs overseas because it’s cheaper. A lot of jobs being shipped overseas had a lot to do with the corporate tax rate and cheap labor. Again, I don’t like the idea of anyone doing business with China but I understand why they do, especially our farmers.
On a much lesser degree, when posters on this board call you a dem, dim, liberal, etc. is an accusation, it doesn’t mean you are. All you have is your word vs them and burden of proof. The burden of proof regarding Trump sexually assaulting these women is lacking to non existent and until he gets his day in court and is judged by a jury of his peers, the point is moot. America was founded on success or failure. There was never a social safety net. The constitution allowed for amendments, which is their way of saying it isn't a perfect document. You have a point about taxing the rich over and over, eventually it becomes unfair. What is that point?
I disagree about the skin color. America was meant for white men. Just follow the history. Woman and people of color couldn't vote. So they had zero true representation for a lot of American history. What is the only race and gender that was not discriminated against when America was founded? White men. For all we know the constitution would look completely different if women and people of color had a real voice.

You are right, it was an experiment that has gone right until the last 30 years where corruption has infiltrated the federal government. The US also has a bloody past and nothing can change that but it’s about progress and a huge amount of progress has been made on all fronts. Is it perfect? Hell no! It will need to be changed from time to time but the ideas that are being presented today will unravel a lot of the progress that has been made.
Back to my point. I, along with people on this board and millions of Americans have a huge problem with someone determining how much taxes another should pay because they think it’s not fair. Who am I or anyone to say how much someone should be taxed? That’s like me telling you how you should live your life or what to think. That’s un American. In my opinion, you want to fix the tax code then get rid of the right offs, drop the tax rate for everyone to 15-20% for all classes. Not saying you are this person but if someone wants to demonize the rich, they need to get off their asses and start working to prosper. Trump dropped the corporate tax rate and incentivized businesses for keeping jobs in the US. In my book, that’s doing something. Now Biden wants to raise the corporate tax rate which will hurt keeping jobs here which is un American. I’m sorry, I don’t cannot support a man who is taking food off the table of a family. It’s why I never supported Mitt Romney as he made his money by buying struggling businesses, dismantling said businesses, and sending jobs overseas to make a dollar.
