The ole scooter has claimed another victim for the Florida football team. This time, redshirt freshman center Griffin McDowell will miss spring football according to a couple of Swamp247 sources.
The specifics of the accident and the injury are not known other than it is a leg or foot injury that will keep McDowell from competing this spring. He is expected back by the start of fall practice.
(at least that's a little bit of a 'silver lining' for this latest SNAFU)
McDowell arrived in Gainesville a little early and for the Summer -A session last year. He saw action in the season opener against Charleston Southern and later in the season against Idaho and retained his redshirt so that he still has four years of eligibility left.
