Next 1.5-2 weeks are going to be really tough for NY/NJ especially and the headlines will add stress to what you already have going on.

Looks like FL flattened its curve a bit and our high point is estimated to be about May 3rd or so: https://covid19.healthdata.org/projections You can pick your state to see when it is currently projecting that high point.

That said - what are you doing to stay mentally good? Here's my suggestions:

Up at 5:30AM just like normal
Exercise each day like normal
Dress for work and shave every day like normal
Start work (can work from home) - maybe fill in with projects if you can't work right now
Take lunch break for 1 full hour
Back to work on time!!
End the day on time/work extra as normal
Eat dinner with the family on time
Movie night each day

Essentially I'm trying to keep my workweek just like before, outside of going into the office. On the weekends I'm trying to line up spring projects and play video games like normal lol.

Either way - GL to all!

That May 3rd prediction is way off for Florida imo and April weather may have a say in reality with that also.

I have a feeling Governor DeSantis will back off on some restrictions after Easter with these models turning out to be a joke again - even when revised way down from the crazy 2 million possible deaths one originally. I think we are basically at the worst now and that 4/15 prediction is off for the worst as far as the daily data for the US as a whole.

They will probably be pushing on a string with testing from about today on and deaths should be at a daily high in the entire US today or in the next couple of days would be my guess looking at the hospital data.

The only things that has changed for me is that I can't go out for a sit-down dinner.
So I do an occasional drive thru to help my local non-franchise BBQ keep their business running. Also, my once a week visit with my fellow Vets with a beer or two has been curtailed by the governor,,,, bummer. :( I compensated by buying a 6 of Bass Ale for the fridge.

I'm a retread guy (retired),;) so my daily is pretty much get up, make my 14 oz cup of Earl Gray tea, add a table spoon of FL wildflower honey, and then do whatever I feel like doing next.

Today, I went out on my rural N.FL the front porch in the cool morning air, to listen to the birds and smoke a bowl of Lane 1Q. I know, I know, it's a tough life, but somebody's got to do it.... :D

Hoping you are right. My youngest is a senior this year, he already lost prom, hoping he will get a graduation ceremony.

Hopefully. I don't see anyway this stuff is registering hardly anything in the US come early June. It will probably come down to whether the local officials are still overreacting then. My guess is once this stuff has clearly been reduced there will be lawsuits if they don't start backing off some of these restrictions.

I hate it for these high school and college seniors. This blows big time. Maybe if we can push through this they can get some late proms and grad ceremonies scheduled for these kids.
