You might also consider why anyone is out to control you...as a person, a voter, an employee, a patient, a family member/spouse: it's all about power and control...freedom of thought, of action, of movement is verboten...das ist alles (that's everything)...IMO, it's always good work to listen for what is being said then listen for what isn't being said...and often, what isn't being said fairly shouts at you...the lesson?...only associate and show interest to those people, entities, organizations that truly wish you, the little person, maximum freedom...life becomes easier and more manageable at that point...but since there are many out to control you by virtue of identity politics, racism (and other isms), how you live, work, play, and think...learning to navigate their control while still getting what you want (when you want it) is very good work...and rereading "The Art of War" would be an excellent reminder...do not allow conformity to be your undoing!

Correct. Nationalization of 1/7th of the economy that is indispensable is step 1. Do a crappy job and make it more expensive is step 2. When it’s more than 1/4 of the economy due to rampant costs, then invade other sectors to help defray the bleeding is step 3. Once precedent is set start “absorbing “ other sectors - construction and ownership of homes for everyone is then a “right”... how about internet and TV is a “right “, having Jordan athletic shoes should be a “right”
Or it impacts the self esteem of our “chldrrren”....step 4.

Step 5 is we are totally phucked and begging for Venezuela to bail us out

Same here...I'm at the age (working PT) getting ready for retirement I don't need clothes, or shoes (hundreds of pairs).
