Breaking: CNN's Ratings Surge 500% Thanks to Trump Town Hall

I heartily agree that both agencies need to be transformed. However, our country has a need for the services they provide. Therefore, I think we should create a new division of each agency that strictly supports the American people and defund the present division that serves the Democrat party.
Corruption is SO DEEP I do not know how it is even possible to transform them in a 4 yr term. First thing I would do is fire Wray..Trump REALLY F'd that up. I think he learned he made many mistakes by trusting the wrong people. I think he had no idea just how crooked our government really was. I know I did not.

Trump's mistakes were mostly his choices of his administration positions. Jeff Sessions, then Wray and then Barr. The latter two have been proven to be Deep State snakes. I think Sessions was just gutless when he recused himself. Note we don't see Garland stepping aside or appointing special counsel for investigation into Hiden's misdeeds. The DRats always circle the wagons and cover their slimy tracks.

But if he fired Wray the next guy up from the D,C. swamp would have possibly been worse.
I bet if you create a new division of the FBI whose stated purpose was to serve the American people and not be the Democrats lapdog, I bet that a majority of the FBI would transfer to the new division.

I have heard that the D.C swamp is so polluted with evil lib Democrats that good Americans that go there have to adapt to survive. That is why we need to move the headquarters of the division of the FBI that serves the American people out of D.C.

First thing..get it out of Washington (Virginia same thing)

It depended on what his goal was - cement his primary status and have DeSantis stand down OR start a move to the middle and get the critical independent vote on why he lost in 20.

For the former, yes, the base loved it. No question. The people in his room are his passionate base.

He already has his base. He needs to expand it.

For the latter, fail. He dwelled on 2020 when he could have EASILY moved past it, was undisciplined around his answers on the rape trial, beat up a 28 year old young woman who embodies every thing that he SHOULD be bringing into his base - she is from Alabama, went to UA and actually worked for (I believe the Daily Wire).

My daughters (19 and 21) looked at it and saw an old guy punching down, hard, and said, "this guy is a clown and a bully."

That is a miss. He could have been charming, and then re-directed Kaitlin in his clever way. For example, he could have said, "Kaitlin - I know your producers want to rehash the 2020 election for ratings, but we, collectively as a country, want to focus on 2024 when you have record deficits, mass illegal immigration, crime exploding, inflation at 40 year highs, etc. Let's take the discussion there."
I wonder how many times this pansy ass Mitt Romney move to the middle stuff has to fail before some republicans realize that we want, no we need someone who is gonna fight, and fight mean if needed

How many RINO’s did Trump end their careers? They had to drop out, or they were soundly beaten.

Don't confuse RINO/middle stuff (e.g. well, we need to embrace illegal immigrants, and just process them in a humane way....) with not needing to punch down on EVERY sentence and answer.

Strength is knowing when you are in control.

He had that camera from the minute he had CNN beginning him to come on the stage and the audience applauded.

He can be firm, and stake out America first principles, just be genteel, funny and clever about it. This was Trump at the Apprentice.

Trump at his absolute best? 2020 SOTU speech. He was in control, inclusive and masterful. That was the blueprint.

This was trump at his worst - undisciplined. And he missed an opportunity as such when CNN was begging him to come on and improve his ratings.

As I said when it aired, it was probably his best performance ever. Coming off a break where most Americans hadn't seen him on live TV in 2-3 years.

You need to decide who you want to be your president, and stop trying to run a guy that you think the libs won't attack you for supporting. You want another George W Bush cause he's not a 'meanie' but you forget that the media actively fantasized about what it would be like if Bush was assassinated, just like they do with Trump. And they attacked his supporters, just like they do with Trump.

THEY are the problem. We could nominate George Washington as our pick and the media would immediately say we were evil for nominating a slave owner.

And sadly....I think you would agree with them.
