Gators bumped all the way up in the rankings 7 spots after beating their last four opponents by 130 points combined. UGA is coming off two tough road losses where they could have easily won both and for sure should have won one against the other two top ranked teams in the Conference..

Gators are favored by 5.5 right now on my book, UGA has to have this win to have any hopes alive to think about any bubble watch in the tournament and this will be one of if not their last opportunities to do it against a ranked big time SEC team in conference play. This is a very dangerous game, usually when a team has to have a win at home like this it's really tough and the officials can sway to the desperate team from seeing these situations and games in the past. After beating down everyone for 2 weeks this will not end up like the last 4 games and will probably come all the way down to the finish for the Gators. They will need to keep up the level of play and can't take this game for granted against a team that's as desperate as they come and one of the better teams in conference outside of UF, UK, USC and Arkansas. Their record is not very good but they could easily give us an L at home after nearly beating the Gators in the first meeting in Gainesville where our bench saved the game and severely outscored them.. Will need to have their heads on right tomorrow night in this one

Yes, this is a dangerous game, after a dominating and emotional game against UK. Plus it is back to back to back games on short rest; Mizzou on Thursday, UK on Saturday and @UGA today.

Me and a buddy are going to the game. Maybe we bring home a victory

Have to keep playing team defense, pounding the boards and sharing the ball.

If we want that 2 or 3 seed in the tourney this is a game we really need to keep pace to win the SEC.

We just need to keep that Center in check some and we should win this game. Our big guy needs to stay out of foul trouble early.

our bigs and kasey start trying to shoot and the other team goes on a huge run every single time, and another brick like it's from half court for egbunu... just stop even pretending to score down low with these guys. Only these guys can let a team back in it down 17 in 2 minutes from uncoordinated kids trying to shoot... it's a one point game already because no one that can score is shooting every damn shot

you play like that in the 2nd half missing literally every single shot you are going to lose to this shit team

Excellent first 12 minutes. Absolutely pathetic final 8 minutes. Not blocking out very well and going 1 and done on the offensive end. Just terrible shooting the last 8 minutes. Georgia has 2 players who are very good - rest of the team not so much. There's no reason for the Gators to lose this game, in spite of some letdown after KY and in spite of home court advantage for GA. Hope they come out fired up the 2nd half.

again, desperate team at home hitting everything they shoot for one night only... They are favored by 2 in the 2nd half as 5 point dogs so another loss to a shit team is coming

Jesus christ egbunu just get awy from the ball, knocks the ball away from chiozza, then causes an offensive foul, then knocks the ball right back to UGA again all in 3 possessions in a row... Our little guards are better than our bigs rebounding the ball, not only that he comes in over his back and makes SURE he can't get to it knocking the damn thing out of bounds. So tired of that nonsense

That was one of the hardest games left on the schedule in conference, we aren't winning at Rupp after blowing them out the first game especially.. I just hope we finish the conference 23-7 going into Nashville to give us a shot at a 3-4 seed

I think we're a 4 seed unless we really finish strong.

A 3 is definitely doable st this point it seems.

"we aren't winning at Rupp"

I don't know if I agree with that. This team is built actually to play on the road, if our guards show up we can make it to the Elite Eight again this year.

I'm not saying we win in Lexington, but we're probably the only team in the conference that scares the hell outta Tucky.

we will probably be projected as the 3 seed in the South Region when the seeds come out this Saturday on the first ever early election show like the playoffs for college basketball

We'll beat TAM at home Sat. but next week is going to be a real challenge. At Auburn and at Miss. St. But I agree with prior posters. This team has played really well away from home and Coach White has brought them together. Tonight Robinson & Allen didn't play very well and Hill had some bad turnovers and didn't shoot very well. Team was only 38% I think. But other guys stepped up and they won fairly easily. I won't count them out of any game anymore, even at Rupp.

ill be shocked if we win at rupp, i never watch games there.. Be amazed if it's within 8 by the end. Free throw castle

Lots of basketball still to be played before the NCAA tournament and talking #2 or #3 seed at this point is, IMO, way premature. The Gators are on a 4-game roll where they've played very well. But let's not forget the 3 games before that where they played very poorly. They could win their remaining 7 regular season games, then win the SEC tournament. Or they could lose 4 or 5 of their last 7 and go out in the first game they play in the SEC tournament. What these last 7 games have shown is that for them to be successful they have to play with a high level of intensity, both on the defensive end and on the boards at both ends. When they do, they score a lot of points and win. When they don't their offense is stagnant and anybody can beat them. The basketball season is a grind with peaks and valleys. Right now, the guys are playing at a peak. The question is can that continue and how will they handle it when a game or two slips away from them? I like this team and where Mike White has their heads. Interested to see how it all plays out.

even though we have a lot of road games coming up, the teams we are playing are not that great... next week will be the biggest determination of where we will be seeded, if we win two road games again in the same week we would be 22-5 with 3-4 games left.

I agree with a lot of this, but it also is a question of whether shots are falling or not. We have pretty streaky shooters, so we're going to go some droughts. Allen's the only guy whose shot I expect to go in when he's open, although Barry is getting there. USC shot 29 percent, so it's not like we weren't playing defense there. Vandy hit a bunch of threes, which is what they do. When UF is hitting shots from the outside, they're going to compete with anyone because of the way they play defense.

From reading the game comments on these boards, I really think people are overestimating the talent on this team. They are athletic but very limited offensively. They're playing over their heads in my opinion, which is a credit to Mike White and the players. They are a poor man's version of Billy's last Final 4 team, which is one of my favorite teams ever, even up there with the '04s, because of the way they played as a team to overcome their individual limitations. White has a long way to go before he's even mentioned with Billy, but I doubt Billy could have done much better with this group (at least so far.)
