Defense is how you win in football, the offense you run is nice and all but if you never stop anyone that's your real crutch.

Texas tech will never field anything that even remotely comes close to a team trying to stop someone without them stopping themselves. He was waiting to say something after Arkansas ran it up their ass about a billion times last year and made them quit halfway through the game.

Sometimes your offensive-style prevents you in winning games if your defense can't stop anyone. That may be the problem at Texas Tech.

In another scenario, if you have a strong defense and a weak offense that doesn't score much.... see Florida under Muschamp!
Or a weak defense and a good, ground controlled offense...you have the troubles of Arkansas!
