My guess is a lefty mod saw it, realized they had to delete the triggered SJWs post, but didn't like the premise of the thread itself, so they deleted it.
According to weather.com...large portions of the northern USA saw a record cold Jan-Jun this year...and I've seen some youtube vids that indicate a cooler than normal July for much of the USA east of the Rockies and suggestion, that in their opinion...we're set to have a colder than usual Winter 2019-2020.

Youtube MBGC Combo is another youtube site worth looking at...one of its vids is about "what impacts will a colder Summer have on Winter?"...the guy that does these vids has Tourette's syndrome but does a fine job explaining his reasoning.
