I ask because there seems to be continued concern that we aren't "spending". We know for a fact (and it was not necessarily Bernie's fault), that UF took a bigtime budget hit with the economy starting in '08. I don't pretend to necessarily know how all the money is accumulated for facility refurbishment, hiring coaches, etc...but at least for a dope like me (who is not on the inside), it does at least appear that we either don't want to spend, or we have bigtime budget issues.
Any thoughts on this? Again, I don't pretend to know anything, but this is my perception at least as of now. Meanwhile, FSU, Bama and other schools seem to be going for broke with everything and at least recruiting-wise, it's paying off.
