Any word on Tebow?

Brian Xander's was instrumental,as the GM of the Broncos, in drafting Tim. Brian is a Nole. Plenty of us respect Tim. We just don't man crush on him like Insta.

Every time I see something on Tebow he's doing some kind of charity work. Incredible person. I wish there were more people like him that could truly make a difference.

I think Tebow is getting a raw deal, but kinda agree its time to move on. I don't think he's necessarily starting caliber, but he can/should be a backup somewhere when you look at the backup QB's around the league. Oh well.

As for "interest", it seems any time I post you make a comment. FWIW

Probably not every time. But I can see why it seems that way to you. You are like most FSU fans. You all seem to need validation. Just look at some of my remarks to you and other FSU fans as an effort to help all of you in that regard. Certainly not to agree with you, at least not often.

Anyone NOT INTERESTED in Tebow has NO EXCUSE for even opening this thread, much less in making any response to anything posted here about him. (stupid-dip-chits do anyway) -- And as this is a Gator board, Tebow is always open for discussion among Gator's. o_O

Saint John El' Dimway has just shown his idiocy yet again imoho.
He has hired the Sanchize (butt-fumble) that just went 0-4 as a starter (4 TD's to 4 Ints) for the loser cow-Chip Kelly Eagles.

While the Eagles new regime just hired Chase Daniels (NFL Career - 1 TD, 1 Int).

Idiot's Claim: Tebow's 9-7 W/L record with a 2.1 to 1 TD/Int Ratio (19-9), plus 1,057 rushing yards 5.0 ypc with 13 TD's, is just not good enough to even be a 3rd string backup in the 'Professionals Only' NFL....

IMOHO, the No Fun League is becoming a 'snake-pit' with no bottom. How sad... :(

FOOTBALL FANS, not religious fanatics started the petition and are pushing it forward.
They might have to first fire Saint John El' Dim-way to get it done though.... o_O

Wow, nearly 2000 signatures.

Kinda pitiful when one knows that an individual can go to any college campus and get 2000 skulls full of mush a day to sign a petition to outlaw the giving of Dihydrogen monoxide to College Students due to the number of people it kills every year( If you don't know what DHMO is, you weren't paying attention in high school Freshman science)

The Mad-Dog Dollie finally reappears here,,,, typical.
As to Tebow, how about when 1,700+ NFL Players vote Tim to THEIR Top 100 Players list? o_O

April 22, 2016 -- Circle K robberies:

I suppose that a long history of rapes and abuse at a school where a male coach calls the female athletes the 'Lady Lickers' is not considered that big of a deal. Also, the police give the coach and the school an immediate heads-up, even before they begin to investigate the rape, leading to fewer (intimidation) prosecutions I'm guessing... A spokesperson for UT tells us... "We are aware of the situation and are still in the preliminary stages of gathering all facts and information. I wonder what the vote count would be among these 4 QB, for being even a 'Decent Human Being,' much less an NFL quality QB.

Tim Tebow - 2.1 to 1 TD/Int ratio - plus 5.0 ypc rushing.
Scam Newton - 1.8 to 1 TD/Int ratio - plus 5.4 ypc rushing.
Johnny Foot (in-mouth) Ball - 1 to 1 TD/Int ratio - 5.6 ypc rushing.
Shameous Jameous - 1.5 TD to Int ratio - 3.9 ypc rushing.

I always wonder how a QB that supposedly can't read a defense, and has a weak inaccurate arm, can have such a good TD/Int ratio along with a Playoff win over the NFL's #1 ranked defense, while setting NFL passing records in just his 15th NFL start.

Now go look up their average yards per completion to get yet another shock to the perceived reality... Which QB's are throwing the Dink & Dunk Junk? o_O

Two of those on the list look like they will pick up NFL paychecks for a long time regardless of stats presented .

Thanks for pointing out my often stated 'NFL Elephant in the Room' about why TT is not in the NFL. It's certainly not based on his proven job performance is it? o_O

93-99 swings with the glitter-boyz... :p

Sure, you just need to start YOUR OWN THREAD on it, instead of just slobbering all over this one.... ;)

93-99 would likely be happy to join you on that kind of a thread...

I believe Tebow has about a 75% passer rating. That would place him 27th of 32 QB last year. That is probably why he's not on a roster.

Why does it matter to you? I'm sure all 33,000 of your posts were on important matters, nothing frivolous like this.
Come on...I've been on this board for years...9399 is fair...I agree with him. I love Tebow as much as anyone and he's right. Tebow could play at that level but really...how long are we going to keep talking about this same subject...it's over. It doesn't change anything...Tebow was an amazing player but it's in the past.

TT was great timing at UF and bad timing for the NFL. It didn't happen and it's not going to, let's move on. Noles go to hell...that always makes me feel better.

You do realize there is about 95-100 QBs in the NFL right? And if that puts Tebow at #27 out of #32 then how come more QBs besides Tebow aren't looking for work?

u?

I'm not sure you could derive a quality metric on the actual passer rating for many 2 or 3rd stringers, but the coaches seem to put the guy they believe they can develop, or the guy that can manage the games till the starter gets back as 2nd and 3rd team. I think Tebow's skill set put him in the manage the games group and had he not been a 1st rd pick he may have been more affordable, amenable, and expected ( lower profile) to be around longer.

Great. Now if you don't open this thread again, or post your whining comments about Tebow, THEN you will have done all of us a favor by MOVING ON yourself. Bub-by...

There are many reasons for Tim to not be in the NFL. Proven talent level is not one of therm,,, and that's the NFL Elephant in the Room. o_O

Tebow is #27 of 32 NFL starting QB's. That says that there are 5 starting NFL QB's with a worse QBR. And that's before you throw in his Pro-Bowl quality running game, or the fact that the Bronco's team defense spiked up when he became their winning starter.

Being #27 would also make him better than any of the 50+ 2-3 stringers currently in the NFL. His own fellow NFL Players rated and voted him as one of their Top 100 players in the league, but then what do the actual players know, next to the media-morons....
Players voted him Top 100 --- Some media-morons put him on their NFL draft bust list.
So each individual can then decide on their own, who do they want to believe.

* One last time, (hopefully) if you're not a Gator/Tebow fan, then avoid this thread instead of opening it, reading it, and then posting that you're tired of reading and commenting on it. --- (that's a bit more than just being moronic) o_O

Per ESPN, The Top 5 SEC QB's over the last decade:

1. Tim Tebow, Florida (2006-09): Regardless of whether you believe Tebow possesses a skillset that would work in the NFL, his status in the college football world is unquestionable.

He was one of the most successful quarterbacks who ever took a college snap, helping the Gators claim a BCS title as Chris Leak’s backup in 2006, winning a Heisman Trophy in 2007 (3,286 passing yards, 32 touchdowns, six interceptions, 895 rushing yards, 23 rushing TDs), leading Florida to a BCS championship in 2008 and nearly taking them back there again the next year. Tebow is the SEC’s career leader for touchdowns (57) and passing efficiency (170.79), ranks second in league history in total offense (12,232 yards), is tied for fourth in completion percentage (66.43). Tebow finished in the top five in Heisman voting in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons and played in three SEC championship games.

A better question than asking whether Tebow is the SEC’s best quarterback of the last decade is if he’s the conference’s best quarterback of all time. If he’s not at the very top of the list, he’s close.

2. Johnny Football
3. sCam Newton
4. Aaron Murray
5. A.J. McCarron

This is not appropriate imo, because General Smith's statue should remain right where it is.

https://www.seccountry.com/florida/florida-senator-marco-rubio-wants-tim-tebow-statue-in-d-c

When are all of the statues of the northern General, U.S. Grant, being taken down?
He has been quoted as saying post war, 'that if he had known or thought that the war was about slavery, (he knew it wasn't) that he would have been fighting on the other side.' You see, the Norths #1 General, Grant owned slaves. o_O

While the Confederate President, Jefferson Davis, had already freed his own slaves, after he taught them all to read and write. You see, Davis wanted something that Washington never has wanted, 'educated voters.' The truly funny thing is that Davis's former slaves then begged him to let them remain on his 'paid' staff, which he did.

Now, go and check the difference in the dates on the end of the civil war, and the North's eventual signing of the Emancipation Proclamation, (about 10 years later if my old memory still serves me).
Apparently they had to have some time for all of the Northern 'notables' to slowly liquidate their own long held slaves.

Little known fact now days: Less than 18% of the South's population ever owned even a single slave, but the other 82+% of them still get tarred with the same slave-owner brush, even unto this day, which is not just unjust, it's total BULLCHIT!

The vast ignorance of the general population on the facts behind the Civil War, (actually the war of Northern Aggression), ;) should be cause for the 'public' school system to either be revamped or shut down entirely. But of course, that Northern Congress owns and controls (slavery?) what can be taught in their so called 'Public School System.' They also control which books are allowed to be on the shelves in their 'Public' libraries.

PS
Tebow's parents have already rejected that biased 'Public' school system, as home schoolers. This is yet another reason why the corrupt political system should not be allowed to 'use' Tim Tebow for anything. o_O

* well, my cell in the dungeon is probably ready by now,,, as there's a dark unmarked sedan pulling up out front in the drive-way....

Grant's wife's family were Mississippi slave owners, yes. Grant was born and raised in Ohio.

Now, I have no idea what your old memory tells you about the Emancipation Proclamation and the 13th amendment, but just so you're aware:

The Emancipation Proclomation was signed in 1862 and took effect in 1863.

The 13th amendment began the ratification process in 1864 and became law a few months after Appomattox in 1865.

That is a far cry from your "10 years after the end of the war" nonsense you were going on about.

So, I know you like to make things up, but if you truly believed that any of what you just said was accurate, then that is very sad.
